Bagels are delicious although they can be inconsistent or unavailable. Cash only stops us from being regulars as we never have cash on us so can't just pop in when passing by. But you just take it for what it is and we do continue to come back. Glad to have it in the neighbourhood.

Not sure if they changes the recipe or it was just a bad batch, but it was much worse than I usually get there.

There was no hint of sweetness (did not feel like it was dipped in syrup).
Also the dough felt more like a biscuit.
Not sure what went wrong

Walked in and this place is not very clean or attractive inside. Nobody there at lunch time. Big sign at counter says cash only. So we left. Businesses have to do better if they want to survive.

Just because you bake it in a wood burning oven doesn’t mean it’s a Montreal Bagel. As a born and raised Montrealer, I can assure you that these are NOT Montreal bagels!

I paid $8 for a ½ dozen because at 11 am that’s all they had since I didn’t pre-order? WHAT???

I guess I should be thankful that they were even open because on two previously attempted visits within their marked business hours, they were CLOSED.

If you’re looking for a truly authentic Montreal bagel, don’t waste your time or money here (cash only). You’re better off flying to Montreal!

They make great bagels but you gotta come early on the weekends I’ve come to discover! I got their last half dozen. Sooooo close to bagels back home in Montreal. Cash only !

I put up with the cash only policy, and even put up with you folks running out of Bagels on the regular. Today I tried going at a reasonable hour and you were flat out closed for no apparent reason.

I won't be back because I can't rely on your business, its not worth the hassel. Good luck.

They are great! You'll never want to eat bagels from a grocery store again. I moved from Montreal yrs ago and was used to good bagels. I'm so happy to have found this place.
*Go early in the day because they run out. 😋

So tough to know what to say about this place on the one hand? Amazing, authentic, Montreal Bagels to die for! On the other question mark dang, these guys have to be the worst business people I have ever encountered. On multiple occasions I have gone there hoping to buy bagels and they just haven't had any. And no apology or offer to have some bagels shortly. Just we don't have them. Doesn't seem like a viable business model. One time I went there, it was on Christmas eve, and I had intended to have bagels for Christmas brunch, they told me to come back at a specific time and they would have my Bagels ready. Well, guess what? I showed up at the specified time, and there was a bunch of disgruntled people standing around waiting for their bagels. I just went there today, hoping to get a half a dozen bagels, just three Sesame and three Poppy seed, the most popular ones, and guess what? No bagels. I feel like these guys could do so much better if they turned this place into a bougie little spot. Get an espresso machine. Open up their bathrooms to their customers. Sell some higher-end beverages. Offer more food choices. But instead? Bathrooms are locked, bagels are out of stock, and choices are very limited.
