Moose's Beanery & Bar Room

Hadn't been there since Moose took over from Riverstone. Disappointed at the menu options, nothing really stand out. The food was good but hoped new owners would bring a bit more. No decor change looks the same and same food from 10 years ago

We love this place! Honestly, we come back for the service. Helina and the other servers have been taking such good care of us on Thursday nights for a long time. We come here for them- thank you.

Had a group meeting. Snacks served were not bad. Server was good.

We went in for dinner on a cold Sunday. They had a nice fireplace we could sit by to warm up, and had a great meal: vintage burger with a side french onion soup for me, and a chicken pot pie for my wife. Excellent as usual!
And we just went for another meal on a hot, August evening. They had plenty of screens showing the Calgary-Sask game, so we were able to eat AND watch the game!

Ive been coming here on and off since I moved in the area. Food is very good, a pleasant atmosphere. Staff are kind, and Vanessa's service is on another level! Definitely recommend people come and experience if you have yet to stop by Moose's!

Really enjoyed the fish tacos. Had great service from Bree, she was tryin really hard without lookin like she was tryin hard... point is, drinks were there when I wanted them.
Everything you want from a neighborhood pub.

Best Mango Fish Taco's in Calgary! I go on half price Appetizer Monday to save my money! Also all day happy hour drinks!! Great service, excellent food! Delicious wings also! You really have to try this place. Every day has a different food special!

Service sucked was already 400$ into there VLT's and still hadn't been offered a drink or a menu

Been here 3 times now. Food is pretty good, service isn’t too bad, but what prompted me to finally leave a review is two-fold: first of all, I got a pizza with a side of ranch. Ate half the pizza and used all of the ranch so asked for a box with another side of ranch to go because it was homemade and very good. But when I got the bill I saw they charged me SIX DOLLARS for two small ranch dips!! Absolutely criminal. Should be a maximum of $2 per dip. And the second reason is after we paid the bill, we didn’t see our server again for 45 minutes and we were all super thirsty and wanted dessert, but no one ever came back to our table. In future I won’t ever pay the bill until I am ready to leave, because not being served after the bill is paid is really bad service, and really made me regret the $25 tip that I left. For that kind of money I expect to still get served water after I’ve paid the bill. If I’m still sitting at the table, then I still expect service. That’s serving 101.

Side note: the Monday 1/2 apps is a good special, but they only have about half of the apps available for the special which is pretty limited. Also, their Tuesday wing special isn’t actually special at all. It’s $9 for a pound which is basically $1 a wing. Not a good wing deal at all.

Great place to relax and enjoy great food! I enjoy a competitive game of pool and there is always great players there that enjoy a free lesson! Lol
