We go for pizza and beer about once a month. We limit the amount of gluten we eat so beer and pizza is a real treat. The pizza we received last night was awful, the crust was hard to chew and it was overcooked to the point I was not sure what pizza was given to us. The flavour had been baked right out of it. We should have sent it back but we were so hungry by the time we got it that we choked it down. The server agreed with us that the pizza was subpar but served it to us anyway. We really want to support a local establishment but I don't know if we will. The server apologized for taking so long to take out order...she said that it was so slow that she had zoned out for a bit. So disappointing...

We have been here before. Had bad service tonight. The waitress says d she would be a minute to take our order. Promptly zoned out and it took her 20 minutes to return. The place wasn't even busy, what with that...!Ordered food and received over cooked cardboard like pizza. The waitress even commented it didn't look great, not the usual standard but served us anyway. Not a good experience. Although this a walkable local. I don't think we will be back. Not sure about the name change not anything thing to go back for.

Foods great and pizza is awesome.They have a great gluten-free option.The staff that work here are awesome to deal with.They have great food specials.Great place to catch all the sports ,they have pool tables dart boards and VLT,SCome down and say hi to Yorkie best bartender in Calgary.

Edit: Downgraded to 1 star because I emailed Falyn as per her suggestion and guess what: crickets for the longest time. This explains a lot about my most recent visit...OG review: Been here many times under different ownerships.Last Saturday, I was disappointed with my 2 flat-ish beers but I brushed it off, as the third one was good. However, the service was rather frustrating. We had 3 different servers transfer our check over to the next person... In what world can't you get 1 solid server taking care of your table?!?!?! First server was meh, second one was great in the beginning and then, disappeared. The third server straight up had an attitude and seemed to be disturbed that we were transferred over to her. Overall I might only go for the pool and buy beers from the bar in the future. I think you can do better, neighbors.

Extremely disappointed. My boyfriend and I live in the area and were excited to try it out. It is a very cool and unique atmosphere.The food however, was horrible. It took over an hour and a half to get. I had 2 bites of the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. It was dry and just overall disgusting. My boyfriend got the pizza and hot wings. The pizza was extremely undercooked and tasted like flower. The wings weren’t seasoned at all. There was absolutely no flavour to any of our food. And when we complained to our waitress she didn’t do anything. Considering we spent $70 on our meal we didn’t even eat is ridiculous. To top it all off when we did complain to the waitress she said “sorry we have had quite a few complaints about our kitchen”. Considering this is a reoccurring issue we are extremely shocked and disappointed we weren’t offered any kind of solution.

Moose's is a good community pub. I only go there for the beers with friends. It is accessible (for me) and convenient. Has beautiful riverstone accents (from previous owners) and pallet board walls. Plus has historic calgary photos which gives an air of history. The riverstone fireplace is also quite nice.The original owners made it much more of a community hub with local sports teams frequently booking tables - had a much greater vibe. Also, I know times have changed but the original owners also frequently had live music. This was a huge community draw, including fo myself and my partner. We (and I am sure others) really wish they would bring that back. Until then (if they do) will only remain a decent local pub and not the draw it could be.

Went for food and pool. GF bun was as expected and crumbly but I was grateful it was an option. The burger itself was delicious. Sweet potato fries were yummy. We didn't know there was trivia as well that night. We ended up staying for trivia and had a great time!
