We ate at the original Moti Mahal on 17th Ave 40 years ago and visit this one whenever we're back in Calgary. The food is outstanding and clearly made to order. Best Samosas I've had in a long time.
We recently went to Moti Mahal for my father in-laws birthday with a group of 14 family and friends and as always, had an amazing experience. The samosas are hands down the best I have ever had. The garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, the kormas were packed with flavor, and the butter chicken was incredibly tasty. Even with a large group, the service was fantastic. The atmosphere has a warm, family-style vibe, and the owner greets us every time we visit, which makes it feel extra...
They have the best dal makhani (dal maharani) and authentic tandoori rotis at least in all of calgary. Served on heated sanitized plates, no place in calgary does that too. It’s a crime to rate this restaurant below excellent. The owners and staff are super nice!
