My All Time Favorite Submarine Sandwich shop. I can remember back in the day before Subway came along I would come to one of the outlets in Calgary to buy an Assorted Sub with their tasty sub sauce. The only place that could beat this place was the Sub shop on 7th Ave when the C-Train station was outside the place next to the Arcade. Due to progress it was shut down and the Arcade is no longer there. Mr.Sub is still the Best to me.

Friday Nov. 8, 2024 @ 6pmish We decided on this location since it's close to home. 1 middle aged female employee working. Not overall friendly and just spoke barely when needed. We both ordered the ultimate club. She watched the football game while making our subs and stopped and stared at me without a word and I looked at her to see why she stopped. Her gaze was impatient with me not knowing what she wanted. Apparently that was my que to tell her what vegetables I wanted on my sandwich. I found her nonverbal attitude very passive aggressive. So did my friend. We were hungry so we ignored her poor ability to verbally communicate. If your unhappy with your mundane job then maybe you shouldn't be there.

It's always a pleasure to come to this Mr. Sub. Brandy is always super happy and extremely helpful. Half the time we come here is because we get to chat with Brandy. She always makes sure our orders are perfect! We've never had a bad order from this Mr. Sub and we don't think we'll ever stop coming here!!!
Their meatballs are terrible! They're cooked and sit in water which makes them gross and lacking taste. They should cook them in the sauce to give them flavour and a better texture. Buns were a little stale and they really slack on toppings!

It was very busy at lunchtime today. The owner had all the customers subs made very quickly as per the orders. It was amazing to see him make 10 subs in 10 minutes. Thought I would be waiting for a bit. Super service and BEST Subs ever!
