I haven't been to Murdoch's on 37 street SW in years, and my friend invited me for supper. I remembered the food being decent years ago, but sadly that isn't the case anymore.
I ordered fish and chips, which was a mistake. The two sad little pieces of fish were obviously frozen, probably generic from Walmart, judging by the taste. Dreadful.
And the fries were edible at best. The best thing on the plate was the tiny dish of cole slaw.
If the server would've bothered to come check on the table, I probably would've sent it back, but I was hungry so I ate most of it.
I had to get up and fetch my own vinegar since the server was busy chatting with his buddies. I also ended up clearing the table too, after the obviously finished dishes sat on the table for 30 minutes. The server managed to intercept me as I headed into the kitchen hahaha.
I know it's a pub, and I didn't exactly have high expectations, but this was beyond ridiculous. Too bad.

It’s the little things that count.
Like asking for extra guacamole and salsa. And getting rung up for an extra $3 each (salsa?!?) by the owner who took my order.
Disappointing.

I ordered beef dip from here on uber eats so I can’t say much about the service or vibe, but the beef dip was unfortunately not very good. I wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Just visiting town, and we went here expecting a trashy dive bar, but we were pleasantly surprised. We would become regulars here if we were local!
Drinks, food, and an app for 4 people, and less than $100. Fantastic portion sizes, especially for the price.
I had a small salad, and it was enough to fill me up.
Beef dip and twice baked potato deserve an extra shoutout as well!

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it didn't fall short. Great little spot that's easy to get to. The staff is wonderful especially Jasmine who helped us out when we were there. It's definitely a place I would go back next time im in the area.

Way to go Murdoch's!! You totally got me onside. St Patty's Day... Was a walk in and turn around. Reno, menu etc... total neighborhood win! Great place now to come to! 60¢ wings... Hard to say no, great "side salad". Tvs everywhere for lots of sports. Great vibe. Great food. Jasmine was a great server.
