I was surprised that it was on the second floor. That allowed it have a total skylight which gave a nice ambiance on a summer eve. Very near the Fairmont Palisser Hotel. Good food and moderate prices.
What an amazing space. Feels so open. Good menu options with something for everyone. Had the NY steak and it was disappointing. Asked for medium rare and it arrived as medium. Also, there was hardly any sear on the meat. Disappointing as visually the restaurant comes across as very high end.
Everything else at our table was ok. No issues. Service was good and friendly.

My fiancé and I absolutely adore Murrieta's. We've been here several times and each time, the staff were great, the atmosphere was romantic, and the food was incredible. The last time we went was to celebrate our first (and only!) year anniversary of our engagement and the staff made us feel very special - they gave us each a lovely glass of bubbly and wrote us a hand-written note to congratulate us.
