Such a cool little place to checkout. The inside is very nostalgic. The variety of ice cream flavours is probably the best part. They offer so many different kinds. I’ve always had a good experience when getting just their ice cream.
This led me to trying one of their ice cream cakes for a birthday. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the cake. You can pick up to 3 flavours for the cake and they all kind of blended together and parts of the cake had some but not others. It was also covered by this strange white fondant. It was an odd texture and ruined the flavour of the cake. We peeled it all of so we could at least eat the ice cream part of the cake.

Lovely ice cream shop! Has a ton of flavours! I definitely recommend the double scoop of cotton candy and mint chocolate chip ice cream! The only thing I’d say is that the chocolate chips in the min ice cream would be better if they were chunkier! Other than that it’s great quality ice cream and def worth a visit! They also have a lot of candy on the opposite side of the wall!

We use to go here a lot. Probably not as much anymore when there’s places where the staff actually talk to me and show respect, like Village (way better staff there).
I had the worst experience I’ve had in a long time here with my kiddo last night.
I was trying to order but the lady taking my order kept giving me dirty looks when I ticced. At one point I caught her looking at her coworkers making a weird face at them like I was an idiot. I tried to educate her on what Tourette syndrome is, however she just ignored me and said “you pay now” I was like hold on and she said “pay now.” Like what??? I’m trying to help and all you can do is say pay now!?!?!
I said “no” and asked her if she understoof, instead of answering me she gave me a dirty look and said - “just pay,” im so mad at this point, but i really wanted my kid to enjoy an ice cream and a dog walk so i let it go and I payed. She then proceeded to glare at me while I went with my kid to pick our flavours of ice cream. Finally I just said “STOP GLARING!” And she just walked away. Why stare and be a jerk and make me more ticcy by priming me when I tried 3 times to help you understand. I hope she never has kids, and if she does and they have a disability I hope she doesn’t treat them with contempt the way she did with me.
I’m coming to your ice cream shop for a enjoyable experience and I’m doing my part to help you be at ease and you won’t even engage in the conversation??? Instead you want to make a big deal about it with your coworkers and treat me like garbage, that’s not a great customer service model.
We tried to talk to the supervisor and he was very much uninterested in having a conversation with us.
It’s sad and disappointing at the same time.
In contrast a teenager in line with us had a full on conversation with me and thanked me for sharing with him, I wish the staff would be less money and tip driven and maybe have some compassion for their customers who have disabilities, instead of glaring and being demanding that I pay pay pay, maybe have a 30 second conversation, even if it’s hard. I would take the time to help her understand. But she didn’t take the time to help herself, she just looked at her coworkers and made a face like I was a waste of her time.
The ice cream itself was ok - it’s foothills and it’s usually good. But the staff were awful and completely ableist towards me. It’s one thing if I don’t try and educate, but I do try, and the staff did not reciprocate.
I wonder why?? What would make someone not even try to talk to someone who is clearly trying to help them understand?

Used to go here when I was a kid and lived on base. Took my family here last weekend for memories sake. Was shocked you cannot get lactose free ice cream other than sorbet but other than that.. the horses are still there, place looks the same as 30 years ago and lots of choices if you aren’t lactose intolerant. Memory lane for sure!

Review:
I was in downtown and had to kill about an hour. My son was with me and we wanted an ice-cream. I am diabetic but was craving for one so I searched for sugar free ice cream. On the top of the results was "My Favourite Ice cream Shoppe" so we went there. We both loved the shop as soon as we entered. Such an interesting place it was.
What we loved:
- There is a lot of variety to choose from
- The ice-cream tastes great
- Scoop size is generous
- 3 flavours of Sugar free ice-cream. I had and it tasted great. I have a Libre 2 sensor to monitor my sugar level and I didn't see any sugar spike after the ice-cream
- The service was great, we were greeted with a smile and got the assistance we needed to choose from a large variety
- one wall is dedicated to candy and interesting stuff (I don't want to give spoilers, go enjoy that yourself l
- there was sitting arrangement indoor and outdoors
- Free parking
- A big rack for bikes

What I didn't like:
Can't think of anything, trust me.

Dietary restrictions: Sugar free ice cream
3 flavours
Tasted great
Monitored with Libre 2 sensor and didn't observe a spike

Parking: Found the parking easily right in front of the shop.

Kid-friendliness: They have coin rides, interesting stuff on display wall that your child will like to see.
Plenty of flavours that kids love.

Decent ice cream. Way over priced. There is a far better priced shop in the neighborhood with fantastic ice cream a short walk away.

Ahhh can't get enough of the flavours here! I come here as often as I can. Any occasion is a good occasion for some quality made ice-cream. Worth the drive to check it out! I always get the kids double so I get 2 flavors without feeling as guilty..
