The Reuben sandwiches are pretty good. Poutine is amazing, cheese at the bottom, middle and top. The atmosphere is pretty chill, would return for lunch or dinner.

Wery decent brisket sandwiches for that price, ordered 2 different to try, use similar cuts, but taste is different. Big sandwich, side of coleslaw and a half of a pickle, oh God that pickle was delicious. Its crunchy and not sour, helps refresh your palate. I would give this ppace 4.5 out of 5 just beacuse of thes moke that they have from grilling. They do really need an upgrade on their ventilation. Clothes are getting the stench after 5 minutes sitting inside. If you are planning a date after that place - gotta change your clothes and take a shower.
Overall - brisket is good, staff is very polite, smiling all the time, very chatty :)
Speed of service - amaizing, yep you have to wait cause its made fresh.

The last best place for poutine, IS GONE. After decades of tasty food it's been relegated to poor french fries, a feeble attempt at a teaspoon or so of mediocre gravy, and some curds.

The smoked meat sitting on a ledge for 15 minutes or so was certainly indicative to future food poisoning, I would rather they follow food safe rules instead of just not caring.

Fabulous restaurant in old town Calgary
I have eaten Montreal smoked meat from downtown Montreal to Vancouver Island. This is easily the best I’ve had west of Montreal. And head and shoulders up there with the best in Montreal you gotta try it if you want some delicious Montreal smoked meat.
Restaurant is beautiful old school early 1900s you gotta see this place. It’s amazing!

Grilled Reuben was out of this world. Poutine is delicious as well. Overall a seriously stellar experience. If you're looking for legit deli sandwiches, this should be your first and last stop. Will definitely be coming back.
