The Best Smoked Meat in Calgary. I have been all over eating smoked meat since I was young. In Montreal, Toronto, NYC. This keeps up. It melts in your mouth. It’s perfect.

UPDATE: After my initial review, the restaurant owner Brad reached out to me and handled the situation really well. He was genuinely apologetic and took my feedback seriously. He let me know this is not the norm, and he’ll be sure it doesn’t happen again. The staff went above and beyond to make things right, and my most recent experience was much improved. I really appreciate how they handled it. It shows they care about their customers.

Slightly disappointed with my last experience there, the staff were great and super nice! But when I opened up my poutine, I was not happy. I called in about 30 mins before closing for a pickup order of a smoked meat poutine. When I opened it over half of the “meat” was actually all just pieces of fat. I did not pay almost 20$ for fries, cheese and fat….. I understand I was close to closing time, but if that’s all that was left, I should have been offered something else or been told ahead of time. Complete waste of my time and money :( hesitant on returning.

Lunch date with the girlfriend, to try the Montreal Smoked meat sandwich and both of us loved it. Stacked and delicious, melts in your mouth. Can’t say enough, highly recommend!

I was actually surprised there wasn't a line out the door when I got here! I feel like the quality of smoked meat sandwich is up there with Schwartz's Deli in Montreal, and that place is always crazy busy. The meat was super tender and you can select your sandwich size and mustard preference. The gravy for the poutine was just the right ratio for poutine, which is not always the case in Calgary restaurants. Great service and friendly staff. Will be back!

Cute atmosphere.
Had the poutine. Fries were nice and golden - not dark.
Service was quick, fast and friendly. Checked in with me to make sure all was good.

Nice little restaurant. The poutine was great but for $8 the poutine should be larger than your fist. They shouldn't serve frozen fries for that price.

The bread for the sandwich was nice but still super soft and gets stuck in your mouth.

The pickle was crunchy and the coleslaw was surprisingly good. I don't even like coleslaw.

We arrived to the deli expecting a Jewish style deli , not ! It’s a small restaurant with very nice servers and very good smoked meat sandwiches . Portions are a bit small for a deli but the sandwiches and fries were delish ! We enjoyed it and it was the worth the ride ! No chicken soup

Five of us stopped by for lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and Austin helped us with several recommendations for Banff visit. Wonderful food and service.
