My stuffed burger wasn't even stuffed. Wouldn't go again. Obviously changed ownership because it wasn't always a dump.

Most of the pictures you see are accurate. Closest to home made burgers. Our visit focused on the stuffed 2 item burgers, blue cheese and mushroom, and the blue cheese and bacon. Basically the homemade experience, takes a bit for the meal. Price is a bit up there, but then again so is the quality. More beef less fillers in every bite. Trying stuffed is a must. Worth a visit for something simple, filling and tasty. Burgers are 12-17$ for stuffed, then extra for fries/ side, they have classic burger options, but what would be the point of that ???

Was in town for a conference and remembered that several folks (even from outside Calgary) had recommended N9NA for good burgers, sandwiches, pub food, and more. Pleasing mix of flavors from Island to BBQ to damn fine burgers, and a nice sized half-Poutine. Not far from the Stampede grounds and the city centre.

It’s okay, I wouldn’t go back. The food and the price just don’t make sense. We’ll stick with Flippin’ Burgers.

I ordered pick up off of skip, they added random things to the bugers that were not specified. They took an additional 10 minutes after I arrived which was on time for pick up. The server just kept awkwardly roaming to the kitchen and when he asked for an extra 5 mins seemed like he wanted me to exit the building. Finally when I arrived home shocker, they didn't make my kids grilled cheese for my kiddo, then I attempted contacting them back multiple times, turns out they closed will not be returning anytime soon, super bummer as I know the previous owner would never allow this to happen.

Showed up on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. We had to shout HELLO to get service. Food arrived and we ordered their deep fried perogies and it was horrible....tasted like freezer burnt cheese perogies just tossed in a fryer. Next was their 1/4 lb cheese burger again tasted freezer burnt and stale. No flavor. My spouse got the Philly cheese steak stuffed burger and again no flavor. We let the server know we were not impressed and she gave us a $1.50 discount. I used the women's washroom and it didn't look like it had been in cleaned in days...trash over flowing and toilets gross.

My recent experience at N9NA (formerly Nina's) has left me disappointed. I fondly remembered their original Ogden Road location and the delicious stuffed burgers, but since their move to 17th Ave under new ownership, the quality has plummeted.Upon entering on a Saturday for lunch, the empty restaurant should have been a warning sign. However, we held onto hope due to the great memories of their old location. Sadly, our optimism was misplaced. My wife's craving for a fish burger was thwarted as it was sold out, and the poutine stuffed burger we had in mind was no longer on the menu. She reluctantly settled for a grilled cheese, which turned out to be the best item we ordered.I opted for the "N9NA licious," and it was a letdown. The bun was stale, the patty was dry and lacked flavor, and the lettuce was wilted. Surprisingly, there were no sides included, which seemed steep for a $15 burger. I ordered a Caesar salad on the side, but it was equally disappointing with stale croutons, lackluster dressing, and not-so-fresh lettuce. I couldn't even bring myself to eat the salad or the burger. My son's mac and cheese from the kids' menu was also off-putting, with an odd taste reminiscent of dirty water. Normally, he loves mac and cheese, but he refused to eat more than one bite. To make matters worse, the meal was supposed to come with a drink, but the server didn't ask our preference. When we inquired, we were informed that all juices were sold out, leaving only cream soda. It's perplexing to operate a restaurant with so many menu items unavailable. In the end, the only redeeming aspects were the edible grilled cheese sandwich and the canned cream soda. Our meal cost us over $50, but it was far from worth it. I regret to say that I won't be returning to N9NA and am disheartened to witness the decline of what was once a gem in the Calgary restaurant scene, Nina's Burger.

Very disappointed. Won't be returning. We last went to N9na in 2019 just before the pandemic. We loved it, the place was packed and it was the best burgers we have ever had. My wife and I were excited to go back, but clearly everything has changed for the worst. The place was dead first of all. We thought the place was closed. My wife was served a glass that still had the last persons lipstick on it. The food quality is unacceptable. We had perogies which they had a sign out front saying the were about half off, but they didn't give us that price. The perogies were clearly store bought and burned out mouths. When we got our burgers, they were served on breos buns that were crumbly. I know where they got these buns from because I buy the exact same buns from Superstore when I am making pulled pork. I would never use them for burgers. I will say the actual burger tasted good apart from the buns, but it also didn't help that the burgers don't come with fries. It's unfortunate that a place that was so great has fallen to a level that it can't even be called a serious restaurant anymore. We were very disappointed and won't be returning.

It's a neat place, close to the saddledome. They have really good Mac and cheese.. my son wanted some, and it was the best he said. I had the Mac and cheese Burger. Was good.Service was good, the atmosphere is a bit dated, but does the trick. More of a stop before the game or after.

N9NA's has a lot of hype around it and has prices that match the hype... Unfortunately they are severely understaffed, and their food does not match the hype.I've been here 3 times now and never seen more than 1 waiter. (Who spends a significant portion of their time in the back. So they are probably doubling as the cook.) The crowds they get need at least 2 waiters and a dedicated cook, probably 3 waiters. The food is decent and would be worth more stars if it was reasonably priced, but it's priced as if it was comparable to Boogies Burgers and it's significantly lower quality. (Still a good burger, just mid-range, not premium.)Their poutine was good, but at $8 for a side it's significantly more expensive than it should be.On my latest visit the burger had way too much completely raw onion and tasted like I was biting directly into a raw onion, overpowering all other flavors. In previous visits the onion wasn't as bad, but the stuffed burgers didn't blend the flavours like I would want. The stuffing components are bland and don't really mix with the juices of the burger enough, (maybe too little fat in the meat, maybe just too dry stuffing.)Having said that, the burger would get 5 stars at half the price. It's a decent burger, just not worth the cost.On the atmosphere, it's got a bit of a bar vibe, with a small bar in one corner and TVs on multiple walls. Not good if you want to socialize with friends, but less lonely if you are going alone.Parking: The parking sign says $10 but that is crossed out. No new price is listed, but it still says to pay inside.

Wow this was disappointing, came with three friends for lunch , ordered burgers with fries and gravy , the burger I ordered was the mac n cheese ....just didn't hit ...definitely needed more mac n cheese on top of the pattie as well as inside ...fries were amazing but the gravy ....the gravy was like jello we paid extra for it but it literally looked disgusting and the taste was just as bad as it looked ... apparently they had an event the night before so when we ordered drinks they either didn't have them or only had one bottle left so we couldn't order a second round !! The server was less than enthusiastic and seemed more interested in her phone than attending us with good service...very disappointing experience ?
