Namsan Authentic Korean Cuisine

Tried the army stew, and chicken skewers which includes fried chicken skins. The skewers were really big and the stew was great as well, nice for cold winter season. Inside is not extremely spacious and space between tables is a little bit tight. Service was pretty good and I like that it’s open late as well.

I had a late-night craving for Korean food and ordered bossam, gamjatang, and kimchi tofu. The menu looked great, and the food tasted really good at first. My husband tried all three dishes while I focused on the bossam before moving on to the others.

When I started eating the kimchi tofu, I was really enjoying it—until I found a hair in the dish. After looking closer, I realized there were three hairs. That immediately ruined the meal for me, and I didn’t want to check any further.

I ended up throwing the food away even though most of it was barely touched. It was very disappointing and clearly not hygienic. Good flavor doesn’t mean much if the food isn’t handled cleanly. I hope the restaurant takes food handling and cleanliness more seriously, because the dishes themselves have potential. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from Namsan again after this experience.

Stew was very good and flavourful! Had a nice kick to it as well. Seafood package was crispy and seafood was fresh. The service was amazing. Will be back to try the other large bowls and hot pots.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Namsan. The food was not only amazingly portioned and priced for the 4 of us, but the customer service was over the top. Steven, Alex and Chan were the absolute best and made our entire nights, not to mention, Alex makes DELICIOUS cocktails! The atmosphere was the absolute best and it felt like the servers were apart of our group. I cannot recommend this place enough!

THE STAFF HERE are so friendly and amazing. Shoutout to everyone here especially Steven Alex and Chan. They were so sweet and delivered amazing service to me and my friends. Me and my friends went there for late night dinner at oct 9, thursday around 10:20pm, we order around 10:45pm, and we didnt get the food until 11:30. I’m disappointed with the 45 minute waiting time, we were hungry and tired.

The food is good, we ordered the dak galbi stir fry, the gamjatang, ang cheese corn, dak galbi and gamjatang were very flavorful, the cheese corn is a little bland.

Our main server kept disappearing and other servers had to check on us.

Mina & Stephen are amazing!! I recommend the Cheese Chicken Dak-Gal Bi for groups of 2-3 + Korean Short Ribs! I've officially tried everything on the menu at this point..

My personal favorite: Half-Half Cold noodles <3
