We frequent the Westhills National often. The pizza is always amazing, honestly might be my favourite in the city! We were upset to see they changed the happy hour til 5 instead of 6 however! It was a great draw for us to come in early at 5 and get some happy hour drinks after work. Not many places around did happy hour until 6 and this was such a good one. Too bad they changed it, makes a much pricier evening.

National has become a go-to place of mine. From the expansive selection of beer to the great food. The Wings are a must have and one of the primary reasons I come back so often. Their weekend brunch is also extremely underrated and one of the best kept secrets.The venue can be noisy depending on how busy it is (and busyness can be weirdly unpredictable). But it's a great place to spend time with friends.
Ive been to this national a handfull of times and each time it's been marginal. The food is okay, although the main courses came out cold. The pizza is pretty spot on everytime though. The servers were more interested in chatting with each other than actually serving. There was a period where our server was gone for 25 minutes. We had to go find her to get the bill and pay it. The atmosphere is cool and the music is pretty good. Over all one of the okayest bars.Thank you for the reply. I'll give it another try at some point and I hope to be able to increase the rating.

We popped in on Sunday evening for a few drinks and some food. While the staff had had a day like no other, and had run out of some of their menu items their service was top notch, friendly and we left full and happy. Thank you Lauren and ‘Toddy’ for a fun evening.

Tiny menu, overpriced food, and the WORST part was the TWENTY PERCENT “auto” gratuity for our group over 10 people! This is RIDICULOUS! Where do you get off with a 20% auto tip? What happened to the standard 15% (which is still insane as an auto grat)? They didn’t even choose the inflated 18% which some places now use…nope….straight to TWENTY PERCENT. Shocked and disgusted. WHO do they think they are? 20% for a server? Wow. Totally ruined the experience.

I was in on Monday and our server was running with far too many tables and the bartender was also trying to help. The pizzas we had were so incredibly bland and very few toppings. I like the crust but it's not hard to make pizza dough. What a sheer disappointment. You can get much better food elsewhere.
