The food is basic pub fare but always done so well. I’ve never had a bad/ disappointing meal there. The service is always good, with friendly staff even when it’s busy. It’s comfy and consistent, probably my favorite pub in the area.
Stopped in for a couple of beer today. I didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food, but the service and atmosphere were perfect for a rainy July afternoon. Having been in the restaurant/pub industry for 40+ years, I tend to rate on great staff and cleanliness, and both hit the spot today. Thanks!
Been going here for a few years, as it’s in the area, and have never had a bad experience. Tonight was no exception; the food was great, the servers were wonderful and pleasant as always, and atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. The perfect place to hang out with friends, get a good meal, and grab a few drinks. Love Newcastle!!
