I am VERY happy I found this hidden gem! I have never heard of this place, but I am so stoked we came across this place.
You know it's a family restaurant from the moment you go in, and the hospitality matches the warmth. We were met with the friendliest lady, mentioning there was no meat--which is why we came. I eat vegan and my cousin and I chose this place due to the menu looking enticing.
We ordered the Banh xeo as an appetizer to share (RECOMMEND!) and were basically full when our main course came. The bun bo hue looked FULL of proteins and vegetables, and the broken rice with shredded tofu was SO good. The tofu was so crispy and flavourful.
I am very excited to try this place again!!! Very vegan friendly and obviously, everything is fully vegetarian!!!

I was hungry and decided to stop by after seeing the menu outside. While I’ve always enjoyed vegetarian food, I’m not a practicing vegetarian. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with the warmth of motherly hospitality. The owner kindly emphasized that they don’t serve any meat here—clearly, she’s had to set the record straight for some hopeful meat-eaters in the past!
I ordered the vegetarian bun mam, which, while different from the traditional meat version, was absolutely delicious. The Cha Lua amazed me—it’s tofu-based but so flavorful that I couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat. What I appreciated most was that the food didn’t try to mimic meat but instead focused on creating its own unique, savory flavors, reminiscent of traditional dishes.
As I enjoyed my meal, I overheard the owner speaking in Vietnamese to her children, letting them know she’d be late coming home tonight. It struck me how hardworking and dedicated she is, balancing family and this cozy little restaurant. Eating here felt like being a guest in someone’s home, surrounded by genuine warmth and care.

The food is so good, very reasonable pricing. Truly a gem. I’m not vegetarian but wow I was so full and it tasted so great. It was fresh and so flavourful. The staff here are so sweet and kind. I definitely recommend the bot chien and banh loi la bat! I’ll be back to try more.

The rich flavoured broths in combination with unique toppings - you've definitely got to try this place out I am still thinking about the soup. You won't be disappointed.
