One of our favourite stops at the Avenida Food Hall. The katsu on rice is superb. Fresh shredded cabbage, perfectly sticky rice, the crispiest katsu topped with sweet and flavourful sauces. Had it a number of times now and it’s always consistently excellent with a great portion size.

The service is super nice and quick, exactly what you want from a place like this. Highly recommend!

Wicked place, great service, and a ton of food for the money! I got a $35 meal box and it will probably feed me 4 meals. I may have to move nearby as the whole Avenida Food Hall is amazing!!

Went to Avenida Food Hall for the first time today and I'm so glad I tried Nice Meat!! It is reasonably priced, good portion sized, the lady was really friendly and it wasn't a long wait! I got the chicken bulgogi bbq meal, can't wait to try more next time!

This used to be our go to Korean chicken place. We stopped by this evening to grab some takeout on the way home... What an utter disappointment.

We opted for the $35.00 chicken combo.
The chicken pieces were tiny, poorly sauced and the meat was bordering on grey. The creamy coleslaw tasted as if it had gone bad. Overwhelming vinegar flavor and not creamy in any way. Even the potato wedges that were scantily tossed in the bottom of the box to give the illusion of the box being fuller were undercooked and the texture was completely off.

In a market as competitive as Korean fried chicken, having a completely unsatisfactory experience like this will keep us from ever coming back and we will be sharing this with all other KC lovers that we know. Better off going to My, Ogam, Wow, or Yumyum.

The plate was really good but there was like no meat… won’t be returning.

We ordered the Chicken Combo which came with a Corndog. The chicken was pretty nice, it was nice to try the different flavours. The potato wedges were also good if a tad soaked by the sauce. The corndog was okay and the fries served with it were a tad colder. Overall, fairly good food.

we have been ordering from here for a long time and food was always AMAZING. However the last few times I’ve noticed they have been super stingy with their portions and just overall quality has gone downhill significantly. Not sure why but won’t be eating here anymore

We had ordered here for a long time , loyal patrons and the food was always excellent! We always got Korean fried chicken, sweet/spicy. However , the last two times we have ordered here have been very disappointing, much smaller portions than before, chincy with the sauce, no coleslaw included (we had to order it separately) and barely any potato wedges. Overall very disappointing! We will not be ordering from this location any more! Most likely will try the other location as this one may have new management ??

I imagine it’s due to the location, but I found the price pretty high for what you get.

The food was decent, but there are other Korean restaurants within a ten minute drive that I would rather return to.

Chicken bulgogi was tasteless. Plain boiled chicken thigh meat on rice with a drizzle of sauce. Meat should be marinated and flavourful. ??

We have been ordering periodically from here for quite a while and recently (the last month or so?) the quality and flavour has really gone down in the food. A real shame.

Everything they have in their menu is just absolutely delicious. My favorite is the noodle box. We eat here atleast once a week. great job!
