Nick’s is a staple, and since moving to Banff Trail, I’ve come here a lot and never been dissatisfied. It’s a classic example of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The 70’s style is so nostalgic, the music isn’t too loud so you can actually have a conversation, it’s casual, but you can dress nicely if you want and you’ll fit in just fine. And the food is delicious. Prices have gone up of course, but you still get a full course meal cooked to perfection and it’s absolutely worth the price. I brought my mom for her birthday today and we had an amazing meal with beautifully seasoned steaks and to die for mashed potatoes. Our server was Jeremy and he did a great job of being attentive and not invasive.

Dietary restrictions: I asked for no potatoes and a few more veggies on my main. Boy did they deliver a home run. Food was fantastic portions were more than adequate and taste was fantastic. Highly underrated would definitely go back next visit to Calgary!!

Really disappointed that this wasn’t better. Looked really warm and inviting from the outside but the food was underwhelming compared to other steakhouses in the area. Wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be going back. The food was overpriced. The foil wrapped baked potato was one of smallest I’ve seen and the steak was ok flavor but very fatty. The keg and Earls are much better IMO.

First timer, I was blown away with the quality of service! Literally the best service I’ve had in such a long time. It was a group of 7 our sever was attentive, waters/pops were never empty, checked in on us multiple times and was incredibly friendly. The food was great! I think I’ve found my new favourite restaurant. Thank you

Service was exceptional, I noticed their waiters were mostly that of teens or young adults which was a lovely change and not something you see everyday, I brought my elderly mother there for her 76th birthday, she loved it, and she loved her food as well, I brought my kids as well and they loved the atmosphere as well, the service was really the part that stuck out for me. You leave feeling good after being waited on like they do there. Highly recommend, if you ask for your steak well done, they will give it to you.....very well done. Only part I wasn't fond of but not their fault, more mine and I'll be ask for med well next time instead.Kid-friendliness: They are very kind to kids :)Wheelchair accessibility: I would say yes a wheel chair could go here but it's a very tight squeeze to move around the restaurant.
