Came here with for lunch and the lunch specials at $15 were attractive. Ordered the pulled pork tacos with the beet salad as the side. When it came to pay, the bill was $20 - asked the server and she said the $5 is the beet salad upcharge. My coworkers all got the house salad for their meals (no extra cost as it was a regular side), but my gosh for maybe 4 cubes of tiny beets and some goat cheese and get charged $5 extra. I don't believe this was written on the menu either...
Great neighborhood pub. Many daily specials. I come here everytime I visit Calgary . Service is always great. The pub can be very loud at times but expected when it gets busy. Th8s visit I had the wings. Cooked perfectly. Juicey as wings should be. It was reasoned nicely. I would recommend this establishment. Very reasonable prices, even if it's not on special.
