Great dish choices, however, not for a weak stomach :) We took beef soup with coconut milk * 2pcs and raw meat salad, paid 50$

If you’re on a vegetarian diet, this is a hidden gem. There’s a separate menu for vegetarian options, including pho, red braised soup noodles(Bun Hue), and vegetable spring rolls. The portions are pretty big. If you love spicy food, be sure to ask for the pickled chili—it’s hot!Vegetarian options: There’s a small whiteboard on the counter listing the available vegetarian options for each day. Some days have pho, bun hue, and spring rolls with rice noodles.

Super busy long weekend. No available tables but the staff worked quickly and got us the last table before the queue. Vegetarian options available. The food was delicious! The shrimp, pork & spring roll dry vermicelli and satay beef noodles are yummy. We’ll be back. Free parking outside the Little Saigon plaza. We were hungry and almost forgot to take a picture.

Great spot for homestyle Vietnamese food. The fried macaroni is actually amazing - both the pasta and beef are super flavourful and complement each other perfectly. The Hu Tieu is also delicious. Lots of seating space, casual vibe with nice staff. This place should be busier than it is, I recommend it.

I was introduced to this place when I first moved to Calgary 15 years ago. Still the same staff working there. In my opinion it's one of the best pho places in the city. Tucked in deep Forest Lawn, go check out this place. Prices have always been the best. In recent years, they've had to raise the prices but still way better than most Vietnamese restaurants. I like that they have sm, med, lg size options for pho. I've only had a few dishes but they have all been delicious and great portions.

I went skip and ordered. Got us the shrimp and pork spring rolls which were best I have ever had. Then we had grilled pork, shrimp and spring roll with added chicken. It was plenty for the two to share and very tasty. Only thing I wished was it came with soya sauce as well. Definitely buy here again.

I've been going to the same Noodle World Restaurant even before it was called it's current name on 17th ave. I think before this restaurant changed hands some 25-30 years ago, it was called the Oriental Phoenix - yes, the original one! The current franchise don't even compare! Anyway, back to the review of Noodle World Restaurant, which I have always called it "World Noodle House". It's the best of the best in Calgary, probably all of Alberta. Like I said before, I've been to this same restaurant for over 25 years and the consistency and service is awesome. The vermicelli dishes, as my wife puts it, "the best" she's ever tasted. I've gone to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants over the years and this one tops them all. When I go there, I usually order #28 with the "clear" (transparent) noodles in soup. This particular entre has different tastes and texture depending on how you order it. I also order one of the following: shredded pork salad rolls, shrimp salad rolls, or quail. More often than not right now, I just go for the quail. In my younger days, I'd order all 3 appetizers but I can only eat smaller amounts now. The quail is so delicious! The mango smoothies with lychee jelly is also very good and not watered down like a lot of places. The owner and one of the waitresses have been with this restaurant since Oriental Phoenix became Noodle World. The owner is especially nice and she gets to know you and server you well. Same with one of the waitresses that's been there from the start. It's the same consistency in the food and service that matters. If you want good Vietnamese food, it's always on the 17th Ave or International Ave. If you want the best Vietnamese cuisine, Noodle World is the Gem - the best of the best.

A staple in our family. We go here often. Nothing fancy. More authentic homemade like Vietnamese food. Usually quick service. Love the com dac biet, always delicious. Hu tieu, satay pho, fried egg noodles, salad rolls, bun also are our go tos. They make pickled jalapeños that are great to accompany the dishes. Lots of parking in this complex.

Finally.. real Vietnamese food. The place was empty when we arrived but quickly filled as folks started coming in for lunch. We tried the Fried Chicken with fried rice, and the Beef Pho. Not to be missed was the Vietnamese ice coffee. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and pretty big. There are many Vietnamese restaurants in the area so the competition must be pretty stiff. In all this is a good restaurant and we look forward to coming back again.

I used to absolutely love this place. The last 2 times I’ve ordered it was completely wrong. Missing items. Wrong items. I called to let them know. The older lady started yelling at me on the phone. A few minutes later the younger girl called me and back and said she would make it right. Went back to pick up my order only to find out that they gave me the same food. So after over an hour I had to bring my food home and microwave it. I will definitely not be returning.
