Place is busy but was able to get a seat at the bar-ish table. Ordered the truffled butternut eggs benny. And it is amazing. The truffle and the sweetness of the butternut squash goes so well together, paired with the drip coffee. Side potatoes are okay, wasnt able to finish the potatoes because the bennies are very filling. This is my first dish from oeb. It's a good start.
This place was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was kind and extremely helpful, the atmosphere and vibe was really fun and decorated well, and would highly recommend to anybody in the Calgary area.
Was in Calgary for a short work trip and ended up visiting twice for breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful the atmosphere is neat although it does seem a little tight when it gets busy, and it will get busy. The food was great. I had the lobster poutine the first time and the breakfast gnocchi the second time and if I am ever back in Calgary I will be going again as the menu had many more options I would also like to try!
