It's a hipster name for a bar but it remains a local dive with all the charm. Given the name I was honestly hesitant to try this place - thinking it was under new management by wannabe bar owners that all too often gut out these local loves to create chic yet lifeless containers with aluminum bar stools - but thankfully it's just the name and it's your good ol' classic local with a wooden bar and dark walnut chairs.

I attend a regular meeting at the offside pub and I’ve held my own functions there as well. The food the staff everything is absolutely wonderful every time. And they serve their beef, perfectly, medium, rare with some crunchy bits on the end my favourite!

We were here for the second time, only for Thursday's pizza night. The first time we were here, we were very, very impressed with their pizza. That’s why we want to come here again and bring more friends, and this time, I can’t tell how disappointed we are. The pizzas are awful—hard, not tasty, and lacking flavour!! Very disappointing! I'm not sure if they have a new chef or if they used leftover dough. From 5 stars to 3 stars, probably not coming back again … :(

I popped in today for lunch and as I got out of my car I realized I had a flat tire. I was telling my sever, Taylor, and she offered to change it for me! Lunch was great, the prices are very reasonable, it’s got a friendly “neighbourhood watering hole” vibe, and the service was too notch! I would absolutely recommend!

After a long day, my wife and I went to have a drink and something to eat... the bar was busy (UFC night). I am not a tall guy, and this older guy (waiter), slim, white hair in his 50's, standing around 6 feet tall, shouldered me while I was standing near the bar. He came back and he shouldered me again, to which I shouldered him back. He ran his lips off telling me that he was busy and I told him he should apologize for what he did; but arrogant people don't do this... I got closer to the bar and I asked the bartender for a couple of drinks. The same guy came back yelling at me saying: "This is my area"... I just ignored him. I told my wife what happened and we decided to leave the bar instead, so I cancelled my order to the bartender. --- As I was saying goodbye to a friend that I saw there; this waiter came back again and continued lipping off at me and telling me that he works there and told me to leave the bar. I asked him if he was going to walk me outside and told him off, right to his face (I was angry)...his arrogance ended. ------ I am NOT coming back to this place again... and you (readers), be aware that nobody has the right to push you around, doesn't matter if the person works there or not.... if people can't handle the pressure when the business is busy; then they shouldn't work there... that simple! --- Always stay on your ground and don't let people to belittle you; you are there to get service, relax and enjoy a drink with food... you don't go there to be disrespected by the staff.
Recently used this pub for an event and they were awesome! Had everything covered and checked in through out the night! Food was awesome, service was fantastic and the bartender remembered every one by name! They were all amazing! Thank you so much for the space and rockstar service. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
