Omega Café & Sri Lankan Authentic

I wasn’t sure if I was in the right area for maps, as it’s not signed well but it’s across from Kandyan antiques, stairs to go all the way to the top. Bustling area it had nice views and great healthy vegetarian food. We were told you could use card , but when we went to pay they said machine was down- it ended up working but best to have cash on you just in case!

Tried their kotthu rotis and several rolls and patties - all are wonderfully flavoured for that authentic Sri Lankan flavours and aromas. Just one down side was my chicken kotthu came with many smashed and tiny chicken bones so I had to eat extra carefully not to hurt my teeth.

This place is CLOSED! Don’t waste your time and gas!

Update: they changed the open-time on google maps now and hopefully it reflects true hours. Will be giving it a shot again since I heard really good things about the food.

We had the mutton curry and Chicken curry. Also a side of fries. DELICIOUS!
You have to eat here, so much flavour and if you can’t have wheat flour or restricted to gluten free. Really good value.
Best fries now my favourite (house made!!!)
They do have a massive menu that I will have to try. I will be coming back. I love supporting small business!

This is in an industrial commerce area. Not very good signage as we drove past it - even with Google maps. Their Chinese rolls were fantastic! And the string hoppers were nice and thin but they wanted extra for the hodi.
Nice people and helpful but the sit down area inside had very little ambiance

I had walked in very close to their closing time and the owner I believe, insisted on staying behind to make my order. I was very grateful. I ordered the fish rolls which were super delicious!

Quaint little cafe that offers authentic Sri Lankan meals and a small selection of snacks and goods. Tried a variety of their patties and kottu, everything was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well in figuring out how much to order for takeout.
