My friends and I were there last July 08 for dinner. It was so busy but we were greeted immediately by a server and happened to be our server Raquelle) She is very informative, pleasant, approachable and very friendly, However busy it was she still manage to smile and be friendly. All the cocktails she recommend were very good and we all love it ( Golden Sunset, Whisky me Away, Confluence and the made by Ben) The food were also good. WE also had the Japanese old fashion that se also recommended. (i love it!!)
Raquelle is one of the best server we had and we highly recommend this restaurant for her top notch service.
We will definitely comeback.

Rowana is proof that not all superheros wear capes. I had breakfast at One 18 Christmas, 2022…. She’s a ray of sunshine that lights that place up. I’ll never forget the handwritten Christmas card I received with my bill that day. I’m in Calgary a few times a year and always come back to One 18 … everyone’s great here but Rowana is special. She takes customer Service to a whole other level and sets such a great example… she should be considered for a major promotion and employee of the year for the last 3 years straight.

Had a charcuterie board to go. For the price I expected a bit more. One type of cracker that if you didn't need dental work before you sure did once you were finished... Three types of meat (decent) mustard dip and a jam... Two types of cheese and the one had been put for a while it was crusty on the edges... Grapes were wrinkly one was black on the end... Olives were good and had a nice smokey flavor. The server was really nice and the atmosphere was beautiful! Maybe I caught them on an off day....

This reataurant has been a good to place for me to eat while staying in YYC for business. Recently stayed for 2 days and had some excellent service from Raquell (hope i spelled it correctly). Helpful, friendly and genuine. The porkchop for dinner was top notch (try it), thank you for the recomendation. After Raquell left, I was subject to no service even though at bar, as the 2 gentlemen behind the bar appeared anxious. I ended up leaving to an alternative venue.
Breakfast by the way has been excellent in both food and service on all occasions and serving and kitchen staff are very accomodating and kind.
Over all there was good food, exceptional service from some and zero from a few during last visit.
I do stay at the ajoined hotel frequently and over all have had good experience at this restaurant.Hopefully, the 2 men behind the bar will become more aware of their surroundings and become customer centric. Raquell, the breakfast team and others keep up the excellent work.
Will be back and report on the next experience.

Was very excited to visit One18 Empire for one of their amazing old fashions only to be told at 11pm on a Friday night that they’ve already done last call AND, we had already confirmed their posted hours of business was open until midnight! Also, all of the Stephen Avenue patios were slamming! WTH??? So disappointed!

Classy. A great range of whisky cocktails (some Canadian so you don't have to buy American). Nice vibe. A menu for everyone. I had the Brussels sprouts with blue cheese and salami, OMG they were probably the best sprouts I have had in the city. To die for! Wine and beers are a couple of dollars more than the average price in the city, just be aware.

Unfortunately I did not have any food at this location, but it looked and smelled amazing. I had a handful of old fashioned drinks. Absolutely amazing! Lots of options and combinations available. If you are a fan of old fashions I cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best I’ve had. Period. Prices are a touch high, but well worth it.
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Service was very quick and courteous. Staff were able to expand on options available, and make recommendations.
Atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was busy (as I was there on Valentines Day) but still managed to find seating easily. Location is good, and in the heart of downtown Calgary. Bar is also attached to a hotel making it very convenient.
