OPA! of Greece Creekside

Most horrible opa in the city of Calgary, avoid this place at all cost, I went in today, paid nearly 60 dollars plus tip, to get old beef that half frozen, fries that were not made fresh,these people need a good lesson on how to properly serve food and run a proper restaurant, the employees have zero social and customer service skills, no smiles as you walk in, get told that they have no beef meanwhile its mid lunch, I don't know how this place continues to exist, let this be a warning to all who want to eat opa, best opa in the city is down at heritage Square off deerfoot, avoid sagehill avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

I’ve gone to this Opa location on and off for years. It used to be amazing.. good food and good service. I’ve noticed in the last year or so that the two girls who work there aren’t very friendly and they’ve gotten very sparse with their toppings... like they’re trying to stretch what they used to put on one wrap over 2 or 3. I get that ingredients are expensive, but the wrap I had tonight was so skinny that I could mainly taste bread and meat. It suck’s because I do like Opa’s food, but this was just ridiculous. I didn’t see her make my wrap tonight or I would have asked for more tomatoes, onions etc, but I did watch her make two from an online order when I was waiting and was thinking wow.. she put so few toppings on, I hope mine isn’t like that.. it was. Sadly, won’t be returning to this location if this is what i should expect when I order.

I don't know if I reviewed OPA before but here goes, usually it's pretty good and no issues but tonight they screwed up the order and my veggie wife got chicken instead of her falafel, we got all the way home found out it was wrong, drove all the way back and asked them to redo them.

At first they weren't going to redo mine too but the fact that it has now sat for 30+ min back and forth to the house and now sitting at OPA it should have gone unsaid but I had to say it. I know the staff were working hard and understand mistakes happen but I never really heard a sorry or anything and I had to ask them to redo both, as they threw my pita back on their grill to warm it up but fries are getting all cold and soggy, they did include a treat and a bag when I got my order but overall it wasn't the best experience, I don't think I was mean I wasn't yelling at them, just calmly asked if they could fix it and they did but it was still a pain for the whole trip again. The redo was ok and still warm at home because they redid it. I hope it was just an off night and would still recommend to support our OPA in our community as we do like them!

Spoke with the Manager? Owner? today. He personally called me & listened and was incredibly kind and helpful. And let me know he would address the concern I had. Editing my review based on his amazing customer service!

Today at 1300hrs, Upon receiving my take out order of 2 platters and a shrimp wrap, i opened up the containers and I didn’t see any shrimp when I opened up the wrap . Went up to the counter to inquire about it . One of the two female staffers immediately said it’s rude that I double checked my order , proceeded to dig around the wrap for the shrimp ( which turned out to be at the bottom of the lettuce and tomatoes ) lost half of the veggies in the process . Grabbed the shrimps from the wrap to “show me” and kept yelling “see???” Gave it back to me with half the fillings missing, and kept yelling I was rude and I should go to another OPA and “why come here”

Her attitude and anger to the situation and towards me were definitely troublesome, I can see why recently they have received soooo many negative reviews on their food and especially their poor service .

Don’t order on Uber Eats! If you are not in person to order this restaurant will not prepare your item properly. Ordered on Uber Eats a chicken pita: 2 small pieces of chicken and few toppings. Basically tasted Pita!

Not impressed. I recieved a delivery order which all seemed to be ok, until I bit directly into a good sized bone. Now my tooth hurts and I have to eat very carefully just to have dinner.
