Oriental Phoenix Vietnamese Restaurant

Wasn't very busy but it was really noisy. Fans and cooler sounds are all you hear, no music.
Food was ok, nothing special but over priced. Probably one of the most expensive vietnamese restaurants I have been to (starts at $19). The dipping sauces are fish sauce or hoisin, no peanut sauces or anything more interesting.

Always 100% on point. I get the same 3 dishes whenever I come and it’s always the same and delicious. To ad I always get my same spot across from ice cream bar every time. Always my go to for lunch if I’m in area. Try and come at least once or twice a month. Great hospitality always

When I lived in Calgary, this was one of my favorite places to eat. I haven't been in 14 years, so I was excited to return! The food is still excellent. For some reason, Vietnamese restaurants in the Seattle area (where I live) use fatter noodles, and it just doesn't taste as good. It was excellent to re-experience this food again.

Service was unfortunately quite poor; I had to go to the front counter twice. Once to request hoisen sauce, and once to ask to pay. Our server basically ignored us other than taking our order (which took quite a while) and delivering the food.

Service was two stars, but the food was five stars, so I'll keep it as a four star, but I hope they improve their service.

At one time this place was iconic with lineups. Sadly, the food has gone downhill. We would eat here at least every 6 weeks. Today ordered salad rolls, no flavour & plenty of rice noodle and not much else. The spring rolls were good as usual. The chicken satay dish (I asked for mild) was not a satay only bits of chicken in an overspiced curry & onion sauce served over lukewarm, lumpy rice. I asked for mild, dish came with a large amount of pepper flakes, basically a lukewarm curry sauce with an abundant amount of pepper flakes. Very sad to see what was a premier restaurant go downhill. We have tried this place frequently in the past 6 months in the hope that it may have been a off-day for the kitchen but things are going from bad to worse.

The food was good but I thought they really shortened their menu compared to what it used to be and really increased their prices.
Overall it was ok, just hadn't been there for quite some time.

I love the sweet and sour soup here, I get cravings and come here to eat it every so often. I should probably try other menu options, buts just too good. Place has been around for a long time and has gone through some changes. The ice cream the owners son makes is pretty good
