Original Joe's

Used to work here for many years - may be a bit biased, but I love the food, the drinks are affordable and made well. Service is quick and easy, always friendly and respectful. The only thing about the environment is thay its quite dark in there, though we were at a table with no windows.. Never realized the darkness as I always ended work and came out at night, but the sun destroyed my eyes when I stepped out haha.

Nonetheless, always a good time with greay food/drink.

Service from the waitress was excellent.

Food was mediocre. They obviously didn't have their A team on the day I visited but Original Joe's food used to be really really good. I can't say that about them anymore unfortunately.

The tap beer tastes like dirty fermented garbage. They must be too lazy to service their equipment because it's very mediocre to nearly undrinkable. Stick to can and bottled beverages.

A lot of attention seeking loudmouths frequent this location. Why people in public don't understand that no one want to hear their stupid conversations defies logic.

I'll try the place again in a couple years if it's still in business.

Anyone giving this place a low rating, is simply someone who lives a very sad life. When they get tired of giving the local Wendy's a 1star review they try to find problems where they simply don't exist. The staff here are incredible, classic bar style food, with a couple elevated dishes. But yes it's a bar, but easily the best Oj's in the city!

The wings were average at best and the salad my wife got was pretty gross...the sauce in it was wrong tasting like something was missing I wouldn't go back here....I did like the atmosphere though I'll say that

One of my favorite restaurants at home or away. The quality of the food is consistently good between locations. I frequently order their West Coast Chop.

I would never recommend this place for any reason unless you want a bad experience, I think they didn't change fryer for a while or something. Fries tasted burnt with very dark brown color. Either over cooked or burnt fry oil. My burger patty was very dry with withered lettuce and tomatoes. Highly recommend against this place. May be other OJs have better experiences, but one in Aspen is a no-no. It is a such shame since it is located in one of the prime loaction in Calgary.

Ordered a Stella. Thinking since it was $10 I'd receive a pint. Nope, 16oz. The burger I ordered had less meat in it than the coaster my beer was served on. Walking away feeling cheated on my experience.

Went tonight June 8th and it’s wasn’t busy at all. It took 15 minutes for the server to come over to greet us and then another 15 to come back with drinks and take our order. By the time we got our meal it had almost been an hour. The waitress seemed to appear like she was so busy but I saw that she only had 4 tables. Ojs used to be a great place to come to but my last few experiences have made me decide to choose to go somewhere else.

Great service, they notice I was looking red from sitting on the patio so they brought over the umbrella from another table. Great food loved the Cajun Chicken Sandwich! Always great service from the manager Kaylee 👍

Food is fairly fast, and waitresses were friendly and helpful when asked a question.
The food was hot and very tasty. My favorite is the kona berger, sooo goooood, mmmm.....

Have been going here for years. A comfortable and consistent place to go. Food variety is good. Servers are always pleasant. Dine in and take out both work well.

Good food, great drinks, very friendly staff.

Only complaint is there is no baby change table in the men’s room. I was there with my 1 year old son and couldn’t change him!

Please install a baby change table in the men’s room. I understand there is already one in the women’s room. Men have to change their kids too!

It's a place to eat. Good food. Ok service. It was convenient location. Wouldn't travel across town for it, but I'd go again
