I’ve eaten here several times and have also ordered takeout since it’s in my neighborhood. Tonight, we picked up takeout again. The restaurant wasn’t busy—only two customers inside. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Our burgers were dry and overcooked, and the onion rings were so overcooked it didn’t taste like it had an onion in it. One of the burgers came with what looked like a tomato peel instead of an actual slice. We planned to eat at a nearby picnic table, but when we sat down, we realized there were no napkins or cutlery included. After spending $48 on two burgers, it was a really disappointing experience.

Original Joe's is a good restaurant, but I would not recommend their happy hour items. While the prices are reduced, the products served are not the same as those on the regular menu. For example, the gyozas may be listed at a lower price, but the portion is significantly smaller—essentially half of what you would normally receive.
In my opinion, this approach feels misleading and disappointing. I believe happy hour promotions should offer genuine value without compromising the customer experience.

This is the best spot for beers in Marda Loop. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is great. Especially Tiegra. 10/10 definitely recommend
