“We ordered as a company for our monthly appreciation lunch. The food was great. Everything I ordered was included. They did mention that their food is slightly spicier but did a pretty good job at making it milder. The only item that was on the spicier side were the beef seekh kababs (they did mention this to me prior, so we knew to expect this). The butter chicken was really great. They were generous with the food portions - we had plenty leftover. Overall, the staff really enjoyed the food. Service was exceptional!“

“We had a celebratory breakfast at Raja Foods this weekend. Raja foods management helped us plan the event. A buffet was setup serving sumptuous Nihari, Payas, Chickpeas, Potatoes and Halwa. Puris and Naans were served fresh to our guests. This created a very memorable breakfast for our guests. One improvement would be to plan for garbage disposal for a gathering of this size.“

“If you want food that is delicious and full of quality ingredients this is the place to go. Everything is organic and you don’t feel bad after eating from here at all. I’ve been constantly going here for the last 2 years and if this place was to ever close down I don’t think I’d ever eat out again lol. This place for me is soul food. Soul food because physically it makes me feel nice after because of the quality ingredients but also because the customer service is so exceptional that I feel good mentally after as well. Good mentally because no matter what my order is or how I want it, it’s always done to my liking with no judgement. Everyone here treats you with mutual respect which is so rare nowadays, unlike these other restaurants in the NE, that show you attitude for the smallest things.“

“We tried the Lamb Biryani, Haleem, Nihari, and Naan, and the food was genuinely impressive. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and each dish tasted fresh and authentic. The Lamb Biryani was especially delicious with tender pieces of meat, and the Haleem and Nihari had a comforting, slow-cooked taste. The portion sizes were also generous, which made the meal even more satisfying. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend it.“

“We ordered take away today, bun kebabs and kebab roll and beef kebab rolls were so delicious. Haleem and nihari were yummy as well. It was our first visit and we will go again and again. Loved the food and falooda icecream was just super amazing.“

“Haveli is a gem for Indian food in Calgary. Authentic recipes and taste and fairly priced. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants and they simply do not compare to the quality Haveli consistently provides! Our family’s go-to for years for small takeout orders, dining in, and catering.“

“This place was my first foray into Indian cuisine, and really cracked open my shell for trying new things.

I have a low spice tolerance, and was stuck in an unadventurous life where I liked my grilled cheese and fried chicken. A friend of mine ordered delivery from this place to our work and shared it with me and I've never gone back. I told my fiancé about it, and got him on board with it too. This is a regular date spot for me on Thursdays with my fiancé, or when we feel like being hermits, we order it to go.

Since then, we've tried a slew of other Indian places, and while I do like a few sauces/types of chutney that aren't available at this location, we always come back.

Kebob and karahi are juicy and will compel you to come time and over.
