Papa Johns Pizza

Gray Tennessee location We ordered a pizza for delivery and 20 minutes after it should of been delivered it showed cancelled. We called and was told the driver was leaving with it as we spoke. A half hour later we got a call that they couldn’t find our address and we have had pizza from there delivered before. They said they went to our neighbors house and they said it wasn’t theirs. Funny how they didn’t call while they were out with the pizza !!! He then said we can come pick it up. I’m sorry I’m not picking up a cold pizza that was ready over a hour ago. Terrible phone ordering service. Instead of being able to talk to a local person, when their website is actually down right now, they route the calls to someone in a foreign country to save money. I get it, it’s a business, but it’s a stupid business decision because I hung up and called someone else. When your call center rep barely speaks English, you’re not saving money, you’re losing customers.

Review for store at 1699 University Ave, in Waterloo, IA. I ordered a pizza bowl, and cheese sticks to be delivered around 9:45 pm. At around 11:00 pm and pizza had not arrived. I used the tracking to track the pizza and the app said pizza was delivered. I checked my front steps, no pizza. I checked my side steps and my order had been left on the steps. When I called to complain, I was told that the driver knocked a few times. Asked why he did not ring the doorbell, I was told, not all doorbells work. This was also a prepaid order, so I suggest not prepaying for your order, because then maybe they will ring the doorbell so they can get paid.

Lexington Ky Winchester rd location Horrible customer service. There are no delivery drivers, they use door dash. If I wanted to use door dash I would’ve used door dash. They gave me an incorrect phone number for the door dash driver and said they’re not allowed to contact door dash. The employee was rude, useless, and hung up on me. I never received my order. The store would not answer the phone for door dash customer service. Door dash won’t offer a refund or reorder you battle back and for with who is responsible. Order here at your own risk, prepare for a nightmare!!

I very rarely give low-star reviews to food places, but unfortunately, I really didn’t enjoy my pizza at this location. Compared to other Papa John’s branches, this one is quite stingy with its ingredients. There’s nearly two inches of crust with no sauce or toppings. The pepperoni seemed strictly rationed, as it was uniformly spaced across the pizza. Additionally, the crust was overcooked. I’m not certain, but I suspect the actual owner runs this location, which might explain the frugality. On the positive side, he is warm and has a pleasing personality. I love Papa John’s, but next time I’m going to be ordering from a different branch.

SKIMMED MY CREDIT CARD BEWARE OF SCAMMERS FRAUD!!!!!
I called and ordered food on the 20th of September 2024 and it was pay on delivery, so the driver came with a mobile POS which i used to pay and after that, i started getting notifications to confirm payments for weird transactions on my card -one as large as CAD1250!!! I called my bank and they confirmed that the attempts to charge my account started right after i bought something at this store. This is ridiculous and you guys would be reported to the authorities for fraudulent activities.

As for the food? The chicken wings and pizza i bought tasted SPOILT i literally had to throw it away.

UPDATE on 18th Oct 2024; I called the number mentioned below, and spoke to the manager who promised to investigate this and was kind enough to offer a store credit due to the bad food I had received. But with respect to my credit card, Like I said above, my bank confirmed that the fraudulent transactions started after this particular purchase and I will like this to be traced and resolved.

Amazing staff here at papa johns cornerstone. The friendliest ever. The quality is consistent and amazing. And the manager here is very friendly and always giving out free drinks. 10/10 recommended

I order the butter chicken pizza just few minutes back, oh my god the taste was awful. My little daughter said our house made pizza was better. So just imagine how’s the taste.

Today around 10.30 pm, I visit here. Very Bad behaviour, no sense of communication, even not listen properly. Please hire someone, who respect their customers, more patience and talk in a positive manner.
