I do not understand the 4.9 star rating of this place. The portions are small but pricy. The Dragon role, one usually substantial in size so it can be consumed as a meal, is at this restaurant barely bigger than a cucumber roll. At a price of $16, this is unreasonable. I tried this place now several times as it is close to my workplace and each time 8 walk away bitterly disappointed.

Finally got to try Parkside which is near our place! The sushi was incredibly fresh, so flavourful, and so delicious! Also, even though we only got take-out, the moments we went in to get our food everyone was so friendly it actually made me wish we were staying to eat in! Reasonably priced as well! Will be back! 🥹🥰✨

Parkside Roll, beef tataki, salmon poke bowl, and a fresh fruit drink, and honestly, every single thing was delicious. Super fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care.
The space itself is cozy and calm, and the staff are so warm and welcoming. You can really feel the family-run vibe, it just feels genuine. It’s the kind of place you want to tell people about, but also keep to yourself because it’s that good. Definitely a new go-to in Calgary.

Was really good! We're staying in Calgery just for a few days and had the plan to eat Sushi there. By chance we found this place. The stuff was very friendly and the food was so good. We've ordered a juice and three different kinds of sushi. Was all amazing! If we had the opportunity to come back these days, we definitely will.
the service was amazing, the owners were kind, courteous, and had great recommendations. the food was delicious and they brought us complimentary drinks that were insanely refreshing. the wasabi was fresh, the sashimi was fresh. the rolls were incredible. if you like sushi or just want a good coffee and to support a small business that deserves your support this is THE place to go. 10/10 I will absolutely be back!

Probably the best sushi I’ve had in Calgary! The mango rolls were great, really fresh and tasty. I also really liked the iced vanilla latte and they offered me milk alternatives for my dietary restrictions. The service was very fast and super friendly.
