Ordered veggie moussaka. It was bland. Spanakopita was fresh though.

UPDATE: It says people are given free drinks in other reviews so they don’t have time to clean the black mould &debris on the floor & inside/outside cooler, accumulated grease on ventilation system, no cleaning schedule available, grease & dust many places, dry storage area dirty. Food seized/destroyed Dec/2024 by inspectors. Yummy! DRINK UP! enjoy ….(** You can read it at Alberta Health inspections& most were repeat violations.)
This was the worst experience of our life after having eaten there since they were on 14 St downtown. This time was gross. I have attached photos that should say it all: there was very little meat on the lamb, it was mostly all gristle and bone, and they served it with hummus, which tasted like vinegar, not szatziki. They said it was mustard sauce which was not stated on the menu . Greek salad was not fresh at all, mine would be like that after a day or two in the fridge. It was cut like a horse was eating it . Moussaka had two pieces of dried up zucchini, one piece of eggplant and two pieces of potato and a bunch of hamburger that looked like it was fried in a pan with no spices. Where is the garlic and the Mediterranean spices?
The topping was dried up and disgusting , leathery. . It seemed really old . We phoned to let them know, and they said it was our fault because we must not have eaten it right away which we did (we were hungry)& kept blaming us for the gross food that we could not even eat this time. They said they stand behind their food and they use lamb shoulder which has a lot of fat well maybe they should use lamb shank which is what other Greek restaurants use for roast lamb. Let’s see if they also stand behind these pictures proving this gross food, I think they would be ashamed of this in Greece!

Not a thing has changed in here in decades. The kopanisti is absolutely delicious, the pitas are amazing and yummy. So was the tropical. All exceptional ?
I thought the calamari should have been fried a little longer, but the tzatziki was delicious.
The rocket salad on the other hand was inedible. It was swimming in olive oil. A quarter of the dressing would probably suffice.
All in all a pretty good experience. I'll never order the rocket salad again, but I'd go back here for almost anything else we ate here.

By far the best Greek food in Calgary! Locally owned and authentic, such a great atmosphere. I went to Greece recently and the food at Pegasus is arguably better than what I ate there! Don’t leave without trying the Keftethes lamb dish and the Bougatsa for desert, you wont be disappointed!

Unbelievably good authentic Greek food with great service. So many items on the menu that you will need/want to return over and over again! Great family-run place to take the family or friends!

Food was mediocre for an authentic Greek style restaurant. Was going there to see how the food was before ordering their large platter for an event. Finished our meal and didn't even bother asking about the platter meals as I felt disappointed with the bland flavours . Service was slow as there was only one server working the whole restaurant it seemed. I felt that if I was to get Greek food again, it would only be for the Moussaka and the Saganaki if that.
Parking: 8 in front
Wheelchair accessibility: Tight corners getting in might be difficult.

I had the lamb souvlaki it was the driest toughest meat I've ever had from a Greek place I'm a big souvlaki fan and this was hands down a massive fail the rice was kind of like minute Rice the tzatziki wasn't too bad but for $29 this was a huge rip off a one-time buy never to return
