I love eating here especially because they have a gluten free menu and my partner is a celiac - which is rare for a Chinese restaurant. The GF and non-GF food is all around delicious!

If you have celiac disease, do not eat at Peking Garden. I changed my previous rating from 5 stars.
I'm currently sitting in the restaurant with eight friends, after ordering a variety of dishes, all gluten-free (two of us are celiacs). It wasn't until we were nearly finished, when we saw a fat wheat udon noodle in one of the dishes. I understand that it's difficult to control cross-contamination, but then they shouldn't advertise that they can provide gluten-free food.

Rice was not what we thought we ordered. Dumplings had thick dough and not tasty. Ginger beef was tough to eat. Other dishes we ordered were okay but were not hot when picked up.

Poor service just to order out, asked for the dinner for 1 take out, had a question regarding the menu and they talked to each other then I had the lady come up and say I already told you , did not answer my question but I was hungry placed the order , made payment, noticed they immediately looked at the tip amount and went into the kitchen to notify the kitchen staff from what I could see, then needless to say the food was not great filled with fillers the rice dry same with the chicken , got a won ton soup with literally only 2 won tons. I use to recommend, but seems the service and quality has gone down hill. Unless you want to tip really really well for poor service, then you maybe get good food 🤷♀️ just my experience recently, may not be like this all the time.

My family has been coming back here for over 20 yrs. By far the best Pekin duck I’ve had. The service is friendly and quick. If it’s too busy, some dishes might take longer. We also recommend the ginger beef.

First and last time eating at this Chinese Restaurant. I ordered “ House Special Fried Rice “ which should come with peas, pork, chicken, onions. This Fried Rice came with 8 peas in it, only, to a price of $16.99 .
What a ripe off !!!

We went for mother's day dinner and restaurant was busy. We ordered 4 plates. They were busy with takeout orders so it took over an hour to get all 4 of our dishes. They first brought out the chicken fried rice, which was cold. We didn't get our 2nd dish until 20 mins later. People that sat down and ordered after us were getting their food first. We also had to ask for plates as we were sharing. Normally we order a combo for one but they couldn't offer that because they said they were too busy with take out ordered. We won't be back.

I've ordered from here a few times based on the reviews for gluten free options. The first time was great. The second time was okay but multiple dishes had mushrooms when I asked for none but I ordered through skip the dishes so it's not like I was able to send my order back. Third time, same thing. Fourth (and last) time, one dish there was a long dark hair on the very top of the dish, followed by the ginger beef barely having any sauce on it, plus there was spoonfuls of flaked off batter - its was dry that it just fell off the ginger beef. Then the curry chicken was so bland that I ended up having to make my own sauce. What a complete waste of money and just disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone.
