Peking Garden Calgary

I always order take out menu and they never disappoint me. Yesterday I decided to seat down there,it was even better. Fu kin fried rice is one of my favorite fried rice there always delicious 😋
Mince pork spicy noodles perfect ( I love noodles a lot personally)
Pumpkin cake with red bean paste (if whoever trying to order this, make sure you eat it when is fresh hot come out), amazing texture fluffy flakes crispy at the outside soft at the inside. Love it.

I frequently eat their weekly lunch special as it is very tasty and plentiful for an extremely good price. However I was very disappointed, the ginger chicken was so over cooked it was hard to chew through, usually this dish is delicious:(

Great to have gluten-free options including breaded items.
Kitchen was obviously busy when we called on New Year's Day, but they were careful with the order and it was ready surprisingly soon.
Ordered typical food (for a westerner), and it was just what I was looking for.
Not a surprise, as this has become a tradition for us.

Such a fantastic restaurant! We have eaten here for years. The wonton soup cures all and the Ginger Beef and Salt Pepper Seafood are amazing. We drive across the city for Peking Garden.

I can't believe I got takeout at the same restaurant as some of these reviewers are talking about. The family who used to own the Peking Garden served some of the best food in Calgary. Not sure when another group took it over but I understand why there were only 2 people in the restaurant at lunchtime. Today we had some of the WORST food ever. The rice was white, flavorless and dry. The ginger beef was full of gristle, pale, sauceless and tasted like flour. Likewise, the sweet and sour chicken had no sauce, no flavor...nothing. And how do you ruin vegetables? To add insult to injury these take out box meals were almost $18 each. And all their dishes are now 19.99 each. We will not be eating Peking Garden food again in this lifetime.

Service this time was particularly slow for our table. Another table was hogging all the attention. Maybe an exception?

We have ordered from Peaking Graden for over a year now. The gluten-free meun is great.
We normally get the ginger beef, one of the fired rice and or the lemon chicken or sweet and sour chicken. All is very tasty.

We frequent this restaurant because of the service and food quality. The wait staff are all very attentive and fun. The weekday cooks are amazing! Highly recommended.

Very poor service and food The chicken fried rice is black color, , it might cook with the unwashed Wok (frypan) the taste of fried rice is so bad bad, The Chinese manager is rude , he doesn’t listen to my concern , he insisted that is normal . When I ask a refund the Chinese manager argue with me and he only give me half refund . Im very disappointed the manager doesn’t know how to handle this kind of complaint.I will never come back again . Bad customer service and bad Food. I don’t recommend this restaurant. They don’t care about customer.

Don't expect the food to be the taste of Peking style. If you just think it is a general style food, the taste isn't bad
