A neighbourhood favorite, delicious sandwiches and friendly staff :)

Now this is true Italian cooking, no fluff or tasteless foux authenticity this stuff is the real deal. Great, friendly customer service, fantastic filling food and a quaint grass roots feel. Could not recommend enough!

Stopped in for a quick sandwich and wasn't let down. Greeted by the staff when ya walk in, had some recommendations for me on sandwich. It was pretty cheap for what ya get in today's world and it's a nice lol spot to enjoy it in Kensington

For a gourmet shop, was not gourmet, and no fresh cranberries or flavour of cranberries. As well, my sandwich had a hard piece of bone? Cartilage in it. Good thing It didn't chip my tooth. Yuk.
We had it delivered.

Sandwich snob here, presenting one of the better Italian sandwiches in the city. The classic w- pickles and onions is *chefs kiss*

Just a side note, from experience, their Kensington location is the best of them with the freshest bread

After having a few friends praise Peppino we decided to stop in for lunch, ordered the Chicken parm and Pizza subs (these may have been the wrong choices) I give the pizza sub 3 stars, decent amount of meat however the marinara was somewhat flavorless, vegetables and bread were fresh which is what saved it. Chicken parm, on the other hand, was subpar, same flavorless marinara sauce, plain chicken pieces not breaded cutlets as I typically expect on chicken parm sandwiches.. couple bites was all we could muster out of this one. 0 stars. I am interested in possibly going back and trying one of their cold sandwich options if I find myself in the neighborhood again.

Have been meaning to try Peppino's for ages, not really knowing what it was.

To our surprise it was a little Italian style deli. If you're looking for a quick and delicious sandwich halfway through the day to get you through the rest of it, look no further!

They offer a sub for every palette, and a drink selection to match.
My order is Joe's Special with a soda. Can't go wrong with a classic.

The inside is a nostalgic reminder of early 2000s Tuscan inspired cafe theme; frozen in time but not in charm. The staff are present and friendly. Definitely a sit and read a news paper while you eat type of place.

Will be coming back to try their espresso.
