Absolutely loved this place! It feels like a country home grown spot and the service was exceptional, food was delicious (and quick), and the prices were just right! Can’t wait to come back and bring friends. Also picked up some tasty Dutch spiced cookies on my way out. Can’t wait to give them to my parents this holiday season. Would highly recommend!!

This place is soooo delicious! Gets busy quick, but we snuck in right at 9AM, so no issues. We had the Rosti (shredded potato, onion, and bacon) and the Ham Leek and Cheese. Always go for the Savoury haha. Delicious.

My mom and I had brunch here last Saturday! I had steak and rosti pancakes and she had a ham sandwich. The portions were huge and they were very good. I had to ask about the vinaigrette for their salad also because it was so good (unfortunately is a secret recipe lol). The coffee was good too. We had an excellent meal. The staff was friendly and efficient. And the place was charming - we even bought some knick knacks to take home. Thank you for such a great experience and we will be back!

Visited on Nov 10 with a group of 5. Our wait for a table was well worth it. Our waitress Steini??? (also know as Sue when she orders coffee) was run off her feet but very efficient. When things slowed down, we got to see her sense of humor which we greatly appreciated. We had some good laughs together. The food was amazing and we will be back and hope to have Steini as our server again.

The food was delicious, the savoury and sweet options are amazing:) We have been here twice now, back for the food, but always have a interesting serving experience. The first time we went, it wasn’t busy at all, so we asked if we could have a both seat. The server sharply exclaimed No!, which took us off guard, and then proceeded to explain those were for larger groups. Obviously, we understood why not, but the delivery was abrupt and a bit rude. When sat, the server came back and asked about drinks. We gave our drink order and asked if we could order food as we had decided, but met again with a sharp response, “no! There are other tables in front of you”. Again we understand why, but in any other restaurant I’ve been to they have never denied an order. She later came back and said she could take it now, but would still be behind other tables, which is completely ok, but again delivered sharply.
We have only ever had the older servers, and each time their language was unwelcoming and forgotten parts of our order. The younger staff, server/hostess, was far more attentive and helpful.
The food was great once we got it. Unfortunately both times we have been here a part of the order was messed up, nothing crazy, but still a bit disappointing.

”Dutch Dining Experience, If There Was Any Dining at All”
We walked in, ordered food and it was delicious… and then we realized we were in a different restaurant because we were ignored at this place. The younger staff seemed like a family of meerkats looking at the window, not helping the 2 older ladies who seemed to be running the place.
I felt very sad about all the starving people in there that have not been served… including us.
I’m angry that I am putting more effort into this review than the staff there ever did when we were there.
This place taught me to not judge a book by its cover. What an utter disappointment…

We were only able to appreciate the atmosphere of the place but after the tables from the people before were already empty, and seeing everyone seated after us got their orders taken and got their drinks after thirty minutes of being there, we promptly left. Bunch of younger staff at the front standing together and scanning the place like they’re in a petting zoo. The food looked delicious from everybody elses plate but I don’t eat with my eyes so I can’t rate the food. As we walked out, a server said “thank you” and that told me that they didn’t even acknowledge our existence to begin with. To give credit where credit is due, we watched two servers who were older and I applaud their energy and effort to keep the place together despite there being 20+ tables in the restaurant.
