The waitress that served us was extremely accommodating. She was quick to serve and took time to check to see if everything was ok. Unfortunately we had not tried our meal at that time. When we did take a bite we found that both of our savoury crepes were not cooked. The topping were not cooked well either. The crepe itself was slightly undercooked. The restaurant was busy so we decided we would take them home and cook the more. I did mention to the waitress our experience to which she apologized. I did not feel it was her fault at all. She then got the manager and she came to the table and I quietly and kindly explained the issue. She decided to pin point the blame initially on the waitress for not checking back which she indeed did. She was not taking responsibility that the cook did not cook it properly. Then she took the price of two coffees off the bill which I said it’s not about the money and that the coffee was very good. I found her attitude to be condescending. I left with no intention on returning. Not because I wouldn’t mind trying it again but because of the attitude of the manager. She smiled with an underlying accusing attitude which I did not appreciate. Again the waitress was amazing and deserves recognition of handling an uncomfortable situation with grace and proper procedures.
