Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters - Mission

I’ve visited quite a few specialty coffee shops in Calgary, but I still like Phil & Sebastian the most. The shop’s design is stylish, the atmosphere is great, and the coffee quality is consistently excellent. I tried the Eggnog Latte for the first time, and it was really good! They even have an app for ordering, which is super convenient and lets you earn points. Truly an amazing spot.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so when I go for a second cup of drip it's a big deal. This is a legit operation and they know what they're doing. I wouldn't hesitate buying beans or driving the extra mile to get a cup from them.

This is a nice Calgary-owned coffee chain with a few locations in the city. Good vibe kinda urban hipstery, better than leading national coffee chains.

On October 3rd, around 4 PM, I stopped by for a coffee. I really love your Simmons location, but I occasionally visit this one too. More often than not, the service here is far from friendly. Yesterday, a girl was cleaning the sink, which is fine—I can wait—but she didn’t greet me and only came to take my order two minutes later, without any emotion. I always leave tips, but this time I didn’t feel like it. The coffee was decent, but the service was terrible.

You have to go to this Phil & Sebastian’s obviously you get the same great coffee and food but what sets this one apart is the staff!! Everyone is so friendly and kind, they really know how to make someone feel welcome! Thank you so much I appreciate you all so much!! 💕

The espresso beans and roast is nice. The cappuccino I received wasn’t prepared especially well but above average.
I enjoyed the art.
Service was ok. Curt but not unfriendly.

Hello,I ordered two flat whites for me and my wife, and we both hated itMaybe it was because barista used single pitcher to froth milk for both drinks at the same time (although not cool given how respected p&s is among coffee enthusiasts) or maybe it was because milk was slightly burn or maybe even because we had double espresso split instead of double espresso eachAnyway, would not recommend this location

Love the drinks and food. Just very disappointed with the hours of operation. I've tried to come in and do a little work at this location and the baristas insist on reminding me several times that the location closes at 4. When I get there at 3:15 with my laptop and I'm reminded that the shop closes at 4pm, I feel like I am burdening the staff by being there. Likely won't come here to work again.

Its just ok -just another expensive coffee shop. French press coffee just isn't my fave. There's always a silty sediment texture which doesn't work for me. Just a single pass plain paper filtered coffee cant be beat.

Meh. Monogram is just better. I would even go to Analog before coming here. This place is supposed to be one of the best roasters by experience but I fail to see that every time I try the coffee.

The vanilla bean latte is absolutely amazing! I taste the quality and see the little flecks of actual vanilla bean in the coffee.
