As a regular customer I feel the service has been steadily going downhill over the last few months. My last visit, the thermos of coffee barely poured two cups, and trying to flag someone down for more coffee was impossible. Food came out cold, no cream for the coffee, no jam for the toast. Incomplete cutlery. It simply became exhausting to try to flag someone down over this. If they were extremely busy at the time I would be more understanding, but that was not the case. I refuse to go back to the Phils location on 11th Ave after my experience.

Haven't been to Phil's for a while, but used to go to the one on 14th all the time. The food was exactly as I remember, and the service made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

I live in the apartment building connected, I went in just needed breakfast before work, and when I was sat I was basically thrown the menu, I ordered and all the kitchen staff and my server were peaking at me from the kitchen laughing at me. I work in the kitchen industry and this was completely unacceptable. It took so long to get my food and drink that I wanted to get up and leave,
Great service. Great food for a great price. Lots of seating inside so there's no waiting to get a table.

This was absolutely the worst breakfast I ever had. I had the 2 eggs, with 3 pancakes , chubbies, & bacon and an extra side of sour dough toast.
The chubbies were like cardboard, the bacon was way overcooked ( also like cardboard ) the pancakes ( 1 came late ) the entire meal was terrible and not worth the $32.10 I paid…. Which I thought the breakfast was $17.95 plus the extra order of sourdough……
It was outrageous! And disgusting! Never I repeat! Never again! Absolutely horrible!
I should have had the 2 egg breakfast at another eatery 3 blocks south on 11 Street which featured bottomless hash brown (no pancakes) for $12.95.
But I will absolutely not eat here again! You could not give it away it was that bad!

It’s a great spot for good honest food. Great breakfasts all day. Everything from your basic eggs and bacon with 2 sides to a Western Omelette. If your there later in the day they make a good burger. Great steak sandwich. For me a Good spot to start your day. There was a time 30 years ago when I went to the one on 14 street every weekday morning for breakfast on my way to work.
