Food is mediocrely good. It fills you up and is probably better on a hangover (lol). It seems recently the menu has shot up in price and is VERY overpriced now. $24 for a smoked salmon eggs Benedict that is quite processed when last time I went it was 19 or so…
Not even 5 min down Macleod you can get a FAR FAR better quality delicious equivalent dish (smoked salmon with greens and bruschetta Benny) for the same price at Sage & co! Many other breakfast places nearby for a similar price with higher class and far better quality.
At Phil’s the menu is tired and large, the dining rooms are very outdated, and again the menu is very overpriced for what the food is. Phil’s main crowd seems to be seniors, 70+ crowd who like the “classic” environment.

I went and ate here. The most foul and filthy place I have ever had in my life. The waitress stunk. The restaurant looked like it wasn’t done over since it opened up in the 80s. Flys flying around in place. The food made me sick. I would close this place down!
