We used to LOVE Pho 99, but we haven’t been in years and after returning yesterday with our family we had a disappointing experience that did not live up to their past service and quality.
The atmosphere has always been a 2 star BUT the food and service more than made up for this in the past. Yesterday, we came in for dinner around 5:30 and the place was nearly empty. There were two other tables and our server was frequently unavailable to ask for the basics that were forgotten - side plates, more water which had been asked for, etc.
The salad rolls were falling apart - the rice paper not adhering and full of holes making it difficult to eat.
The curry soup which was reportedly not spicy was so spicy no one at the table could eat it- for reference I ordered this all the time in the past and had no issue.
The establishment is in dire need of repairs and general maintenance but being literally taped together in an attempt to hide the sewer gas smells in the washroom. So unfortunate to see this after this was one of our favourite go to restaurants 3 years ago.

Been here a handful of times now and I just find anything I order is delicious and comes out quick. The food is very reasonably priced, and somehow it's always quiet when I go there, which considering the aforementioned things I find quite surprising. I always look forward to returning!

What is really special here is the half size -- half price food. This allows you MORE selection so you can get two dishes for one price. Food taste is great too
Parking: Strip mall -- a lot of parking. Tip: arrive a few minutes early (11:40 am) and get door side parking

Pho 99 always has friendly service, great food and good prices. I come here with my family and friends often. The yellow curry bowl is my favorite, adding coconut rice makes it even better! Bahn Mis are good here too.

Popped over to grab a sate beef bahn mi for lunch. The size is very generous, the price is on point, and most importantly the flavour is outstanding! Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

My friend and I stopped here for a quick lunch. We had their Vietnamese sub 51b, soo good!! Every time I come here they always serve me yummy food and have quick service, couldn’t ask for more. Next time my friend and I will try their pho :)
