A pinch of comfort. A dash of flavor. A big serving of Vietnam in a bowl. The soups I've had are evocative of the flavors I tasted when I visited Vietnam. The bun bo hue in particular is da BOMB. That soup has depth, it's warming, you can taste the attention to detail and stew time of the meat bones and spices with the shrimp paste flavour woven in artistically to give it perfect balance of seafoody, yet meaty savouriness, wrapped up in a slightly spicy bow. The noodles are always cooked to perfection giving the right texture and acting as the familiar ride to flavour town. I love the satay noodle soup as their satay is not just peppers, but a myriad of artists working in tandem to create an experience for your mouth. Don't forget to try their house rolls - a stroke of ingenuity that combines the best parts of a spring roll and salad roll. My kid eats all of it (including the veggies) and it's his favorite. That says it all.
Last but not least, Lucy is a wonderful human being.

This place trademark a whole national dish name just to sue tiny little places to get rid of their competition

Had a meal here and food was okay. Dishes were served cold. Wouldn’t recommend.

We have enjoyed various dishes from here many times. It is our preferred Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Today they went above and beyond for us. I mistakenly places on online order for the McLeod trail location instead of mahogany. When I arrived they checked into the order and prepared the food for us without charge (despite me offering as it was my error). They were courteous and went above and beyond.

This is by far one of my top favourite Vietnamese restaurants in the city! The food is always served so fresh & it tastes incredible - you can tell a lot of love & care goes into their work. The staff is friendly & service is quick. I’m hopeful that they’ll soon introduce bone marrow appetizers to their menu! 10/10 would recommend this place for an extra hot & steamy bowl of spicy pho on those cold & chilly days.

I picked up food from here for the first time last week. Got the beef stew with vermicelli and it was exactly what I wanted. The flavor of the broth was deep and the beef was so tender. Price was very reasonable. We actually ordered from here again last evening. I think I have a new favorite pho place that's close to home.

Very nice small place. Service is quick. Sate has a unique taste to it which I like. Spring rolls are very good there. Beef Sate is the item to get.

We have been several times to this restaurant and it never failed us. Our favourite is the special pho. The broth is rich without overpowering all the other elements of the dish. If you want to eat pho in Calgary, this is the place to go. Their onion bread is also worth a try.

We were in the area, and decided to get a couple viet subs to take home. We were told it would be 20 minutes, so took a walk around. When we went back they still weren’t ready and ended up waiting 45 minutes for 2 subs. I’m not sure how long it would take for a full meal.

Food is alright, the pho, and com dishes don’t compare to Pho Hoan Pasteur (in the other Mahogany plaza), but they have a couple of special dishes like omelettes and squid, which is the only reason why we visit. Food is a solid 7/10. Service is horrendous, the older filipina server is incredibly rude, wouldn’t bother to look at me and my small family when we wanted to pay, gave attitude, but was very friendly to the bigger family beside us who ordered more. Disappointed by that server more than once yet we didn’t do anything to her? I came in with a smile, and she gave us a blank look and didn’t serve us until we asked if we could order. It’s busy and we understand, but she was nicer and served the other family faster. She clearly doesn’t care for the business, since she’s only a minimum wage worker, but at least act like you care enough to keep your job? Especially in this economy? If she was even an ounce friendlier we would’ve left a nice tip. I work in the service industry so I understand, but she chose to be rude each visit. Service is a 1/10. Atmosphere is cute, quite small, 10 tables, but decorated nicely. Atmosphere is a 7/10.
