I actually came for the aquarium store downstairs but apon entering the building the smell was so overwhelmingly mouthwatering, I decided to have a bowl. Im pretty sure it’s a family owned place and the food definitely reflects that, broths are all so tasty! The staff that work there are so kind, hard working and friendly. They let me try all of the broths before making a bowl for me to be sure. I also loved the fact that’s it’s kinda like a subway and they put all the fixings in for you. Super fast and efficient, with all the flavour of an authentic pho spot.

The food is tasty and authentic. The atmosphere is just okay, the tables are crowded and the place is often busy, so it’s not ideal for conversation. I wish they used less plastic and offered more toppings, such as beef balls or tendon. However, the broth quality really stands out: it’s rich, well-cooked, and infused with traditional herbs.

The most comforting food, I absolutely love their premium pho it’s the most delicious broth ever! They always listen to what I want and don’t in my pho. The beef in the pho is absolutely scrumptious. Best halal pho in yyc, such friendly workers too!

Wow wow wow I finally got to experience the pho here given its halal and I’m amazed the coconut broth is amazing alhumdullah the premium broth also. I initially came here for the spicy beef sauté however the coconut one is my favorite. I’ll be back . I did take out an it was delicious

Maricar and Yulia make my visit to Pho Daddy an exemplary experience every time. I love the premium slow cooked beef broth. Great halal soup always sceatches my itch for Vietnamese Pho. The flavour is amazing and yet somehow Maricar and Yulia have managed to exceed the flavours with warm exemplary service that keeps me coming back regularly and bringing my Pho loving friends. Maricar and Yulia always ask my guests if it is their first time and insist on havibg them try all the flavours before making up their mind. They also have unparalleled product knowledge. I always ask the same questions about ingredients and different flavour profiles and they always know exactly what it is in and never fluff up my order. They even go the extra mile to have me sit if they need time, come check on me, and clean my ta le while im still there. Im grateful for them making me feel welcome at every visit. And ensure every visit is the best time i have had there.

My old favourite Pho place closed and I was bereft of Pho! Five years, Pho-less! I sort of discounted the possibility of a replacement, and Pho Daddy looked too mainstream or regular from the street, but in the recent dip to 8.5 million degrees below zero, I decided to go up the spiral staircase, and I am happy I did. Super, flavourful -- awesome people, and a good window to sit.
