I love Vietnamese food. I have fond memories of going out and eating it with my mom and sisters all the time growing up. In short- I’ve tried A LOT of Vietnamese food here in Calgary throughout the years.

This place is by far the best place by far.

I ordered Vietnamese food earlier today through DoorDash. I got the wrong order and when I contacted support I was denied a refund. I put in another complaint and it said I would have to wait about 24 hours for them to decide if to help me.

I call this place and they tell me the dasher took the wrong delivery and that they saved mine. They gave me extra spring rolls on top of that for the trouble (even though it was DoorDash’s fault). The staff were super apologetic (again, it wasn’t their fault) and friendly.

This has been my go to place for the past year since I’ve moved and they rarely disappoint. And today has only been an example of that.

Affordable, delicious, comfortable.

Five stars.

Unfortunately, although I do love their pho, they have a great broth… their quality control is lacking :( I ordered takeout and the pre-prepped baggie of sprouts and lime was, incredibly past its expiry.

I got the large bun bo hue and the size was really good and packed with toppings and the flavour was really good. The spice level was really nice not to hot.

I am going to be honest I have probably been to this restaurant 500+ times in my life.. and I have no regrets! The food is amazing, huge portions, and reasonable prices. Let me keep it simple: order a C1 it is literally life.

Seems to be quite a few people disappointed in the pho/broth/etc. I have eaten pho all around the city and I honestly think the Pho Sate here (#1) is the most delicious and flavorful soup in the world. It's spicy and peanut-y and so good. The plain pho non-sate is nothing special.

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Calgary. Can’t believe it only has 4.1 rating, I think everyone who’s been leaving negative review is rating wrong restaurant lol. I’ve been dining here quite often in the last year. Food is always delicious, staff super nice and attentive. C1 is life!! Gotta try it!

The most bland, cold, yucky pho I've ever had. They also cut the meat balls into quarters?? The rare beef tasted so bad too...

Terrible Pho, bland soup, beef quality is exceptionally bad.
Asked the pricing for extra noodles and was told $2, later on got charged $3.50, asked the serve to adjust the bill and they did not budge.
I wonder how did the negative reviews accumulated overtime?

What a terrible place, honestly not the best pho, I just ordered not too long ago for lunch and I literally should have kept my money to
put in gaz or something. The brothe is awful the beef they put in so terrible I was hesitant to even have a bite and when I did it tasted as it looks. I do not know how this place stay open in this economy and knowing that there is way better out there! I am usually not the type to leave comments but was so awful I had to maybe they will make some difference in there recipe.

UPDATE: 6 years later and I'm still going here about once a month! Same delicious food as always at great prices! Still my favorite Pho place in the city!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been to a ton of different Vietnamese restaurants throughout the city and this one remains my all-time favorite! I try to go at least once a month! Everything is great here! The pho has fantastic flavor, the vermicelli comes in huge portions and the ingredients are fresh and delicious, the Vietnamese subs are wonderful with the chopped jalapeno peppers adding a healthy heat for those that like it hot!

The price is incredibly reasonable as well! For $12 you will be stuffed! If one were so inclined they could just order a sub with some tea, which is still filling, and only have a $6 bill!

The service is always stellar! Food comes out fast every single time!
