Pho Pham (Signal Hill)

I like this place but it’s been a hit and miss. It’s busy so I think the servers have become completely indifferent,

Had to ask for a menu after waiting 5-10 minutes, spring rolls came out cold, meat was forgotten in my soup - asked for it to be removed from my bill but they brought me the meat on the side as I was finishing eating.

Food was good as always with the exception of getting cold spring rolls.

Ordered the soup with egg rolls beef
It has got to be the worst soup I’ve ever had. Egg rolls overcooked and dry. Couldn’t eat the soup. Terribly disappointed

Pho Pham did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. Excellent portions and very tasty. Slight wait for the food but we'll worth it 👌.

New favourite pho place

I got the large beef satay PHO and it was excellent to say the least. Loads of flavour and noodles and best part is tons of meat!

This place beats all the other pho places in town simply from the portions alone!

Also got the crispy onion cake and tempura shrimp, they were so yummy.

Atmosphere and vibe of this place is very clean and tidy, loads of seating space.

Excellent - server easily and confidently answered which menu items were gluten free. Once we ordered, food was very quickly to our table. Ordered double meat and half the noodles- this appeared to be about 2 ounces of meat total (imo a bit shy compared to other pho I have had elsewhere).

Flavor was exceptional and balanced.

Could be better- water refills only given 1 small water and no offers to refill, and stop eyeballing like you want us to leave after bill was paid -You were tipped well.

This is my second visit and probably is my last. We had the beef sate pho and regular beef pho. Their sate was a bit too sweet for my liking. Pho Pham's beef broth was well-seasoned and flavorful . The beef was tender. Portion was also generous. Service was friendly. However, similar to my last visit, the quality of the noodles was very poor. The texture were starchy and floury instead of being smooth to the bite. I think it's a shame that Pho Pham would opt for poor quality noodles to save a few cents when they did everything else right.

NOT very gluten friendly. Your options are shrimp or soup, and the portion size for my vermicelli was not as large as our regular place. My friend's rice plate meat portion was huge though. My fellow GF eaters should look elsewhere.

The staff especially Linh is great. Very accommodating for my family! Their cooking is very good and authentic as well. Xl soup is truly enough to share unless you're a young hungry teenager/ adult :)

Service was not good. Had to ask for cutlery, plates and had to get the waiters attention to place an order after waiting over 10mins.
No subs on menu. Menu very limited.
Nothing special about food. No street food options.
Server didn't wash hands after using bathroom...
