Came back to update this review after giving a once-loved place one final chance. Ordered takeout and went with two classic dishes: pork vermicelli and lemongrass vermicelli. Unfortunately, the quality just no longer matches the price. Like many places lately, both the quality and portion sizes seem to have declined to a disappointing level.
This isn’t written lightly, but at some point it’s fair to be honest. Prices continue to rise, and the value simply isn’t there anymore.
That said, I don’t want to take away from the positives. The staff has always been friendly and polite, and the atmosphere inside is welcoming. Unfortunately, good service alone isn’t the product, and it doesn’t make up for the drop in food quality.

Have been going to Pho So 1 for years now. They have new owners, and it’s still amazing food / menu options (for all diets), friendly staff and owners, and lovely atmosphere. Have had meetings here, as well as taken family out. Bathrooms have been updated & are nice! The fish tank in the back is a hit, and though we miss the pond, the fish look happy and well kept.
I accidentally forgot my left overs salad rolls on the counter, and called to see if they’d keep it in hr fridge for me to pick up. They made me fresh batch when I arrived. Very thoughtful owners and management, and continued amazing restaurant choice.
10/10 recommend.

I made a take out order today, and was very disappointed! Purposely mentioned about sauces and a whole piece ( fruit) of lime. Advised to charge for these extras. All my requests were ignored. Did not eat it! Very bad service!

Great food but getting them to answer the phone to order ahead of time is hit and miss
I had dinner at the restaurant on November 6th around 7 p.m. The food at the restaurant is good. The only thing I didn’t like was the lady who seems to be the supervisor or manager. She started yelling and scolding a young employee in the kitchen with very loud shouts, maybe because of a mistake he made. It really made me feel sad to see how she treated that young man. He came out looking quite upset. I didn’t find that woman’s behavior very professional.

Me and my friend get pho at least once a week at different places this was by far the worst pho we have ever had we both got different soups and they were both horrible we had requested extra white onion and limes and they brought us the most stingy amount possible do not recommend

This is our go to Vietnamese place because the food has always excelled our expectations. However, the service is absolutely terrible ! Tables who come in after us, gets greeted first . We sat here over an hour waiting for water refills and no one came by unless we ask. I know this is a family business, but maybe they should consider hiring someone who isn’t as young as they are.

I ordered the vermicelli and a noodle soup — two of the most basic staples at any Vietnamese restaurant. And yet somehow, this place managed to butcher both.
The vermicelli was a sad, soggy mess. Lukewarm, flavorless, and served with what I can only assume were day-old spring rolls cut into chunks. The meat was dry and chewy, and the fish sauce tasted like it came from a dusty bottle that hadn't seen daylight in years.
The noodle soup? If you can even call it that. The broth was bland, greasy, and had all the depth of warm dishwater. The noodles were overcooked to the point of falling apart, and the meat was tough and suspiciously gray. Not a single fresh herb or sprig of cilantro in sight — just a limp handful of bean sprouts and a wedge of lime that looked like it had been pre-squeezed by someone else.
The service didn’t help. Uninterested staff, long wait times, and they got my order wrong the first time anyway.
At least there was a reasonably amount of vermecelli noodles
