If we ask for no pork from the beginning and pursue to serve a family pork dishes that they can’t eat. Please at least offer a full refund. Take accountability.

My mother went to order pho at the restaurant. Was later told from the owner that the guy who took our order does not even work there. My mom had wanted a pot of pho and spoke to the guy in Cantonese and she also asked for no pork. She asked for the $40 pot as well, but the guy told her that $40 was not enough and she needed to order the $60. My mom got bun bo hue instead of pho and got PORK meatballs in the soup too. My family does not eat pork. She was clear on asking for no pork. And second she spent more than she initially asked for. They couldn’t give us a refund or exchange as we just got home around 5pm after purchasing at 1pm. My mom does not even know what bun bo hue nor wha it looked like, she just assumed it was pho until I got home and checked. Disappointed on this restaurant’s accountability and service. Next time do not have a random uncle (who does not even work there) take orders for you. Waste of $60

I had “cháo lòng” today. I also bought to-go “cơm tấm” and “bún măng”. They all tasted really good. This restaurant is a hidden gem. When I googled Vietnamese restaurants for some special dishes, this place has never been showed up. However, I just knew Pho V restaurant by word of mouth and it surprised me. The decoration is basic and there is no website for advertisement. However, the food is beyond my expectation. I will bring my own pot and buy “bún bò Huế” next time.
