Pho Van Vietnamese Noodle House

Ordered in and was not disappointed. Hubby had the beef vermicelli and I had the veggie vermicelli both came with spring rolls. The veggies in the vermicelli dishes nice and fresh. Spring rolls delicious and not greasy at all. Delivered within 25 minutes.

I usually don’t like to post negative reviews on any businesses, but I’m making an exception for tonight. I ordered pho soup with some extra meat from Skip when it arrived. I opened it and found nothing but raw meat. I called to let them know about the mistake as I understand these things can happen, but I was met with someone on the phone who is extremely rude and told me when I order meat. I need to call the restaurant and have it cooked properly and people like me are stupid so now I’m going to share everything I would not recommend eating here. It’s absolutely disgusting and they’re stupidity makes them even worse. I strongly don’t recommend eating here. Anyone who would answer their phone and say that to a customer ordering from Skip the dish that they need to call the restaurant in order to have their meat cooked should not be in charge of serving anyone meals my kids tonight did bite into the meat. Luckily, I caught them before they got really deep into it. I am disgusted and appalled by this restaurant and their lack Care I truly believe that the person that made this meal should not be able to be around food. I will be dealing with Alberta health services early this week.

Also they have plastic straws so that's a 9/11 for me.

We come here for lunch quite often as our office isn't too far away. The food has never disappointed us and we have tried most items on the menu. The one dish I find myself coming back to has been the chicken and shrimp fried rice which I can never get enough of. I have a feeling the service is more in tune with what you would receive in Vietnam so you will have to make eye contact and indicate that you need something if you do. They are incredibly friendly and will get you anything you need but it is different from the typical western style of service when the server drops by every few minutes to check on you.

Very tasty broth that isn’t too salty! The broth is very flavourful but not overpoweringly salty - I enjoyed it a lot. Vermicelli and Bunbohue is amazing!

This is definitely my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area. I have never had a dish here that was less than amazing. I highly recommend the beef sauté noodle soup, as they use a delicious homemade chili oil for an extra kick. Additionally, they don’t use cilantro, so I never have to request it be omitted. Be sure to try the charbroiled shrimp vermicelli—it's more like battered shrimp balls and very tasty. Plus, the deep-fried spring rolls are a must-have with every order.

The first time we were treated poorly, I brushed it off as them being busy. But when it happened again, then it became clear.

First event: Everyone was being served tea as soon as they sat down, we didn't get served tea. And even though we ordered pho, they decided not to provide us with bean sprouts and basil. I asked, and asked again, until I eventually got it.

Second event: This time we got tea! Thank you to the man who works there. Every single person was greeted/thanked when paying their bills, but when it was my turn, nothing. Just the machine.

The food isn't worth this treatment. A disgrace.
