We’ve come here several times before. It’s a good downtown local place. We like the food and the down-to-earth atmosphere. The only issue was one of the lovely servers said this place is technically a “bar”. Ok I can agree with that, but she said “pub is a bar and means no minors” and I’ve been to many kid-friendly pubs. But nowhere on the website specified age restrictions. On tripadvisor AI and Google AI search said this place is kid-friendly. Lesson learned call...
Went here later at night when most other places were closed. Service was great, and ordered the featured special with a bacon cheddar cheeseburger, beef and barley soup, and fries. It was great! The burger was on the sweeter side with the BBQ sauce.
Nice little bar with plenty of tables and bar seating. Good selection of drinks including cocktails, beers, spirits, and more. The steak bites, chicken wings, and taquitos were well prepared and good portions. Waitress was friendly, courteous, and gave us quick service. Quiet enough to talk but still lively. We went back twice in the same week for this specific reason.
