This place has a fantastic vibe! The food was amazing and the service even better. Any server who came by the table was prompt on asking if we needed anything else and eager to get it to you quick. Would 100000% recommend! It's no wonder this place has great ratings!

I have dined here for dinner and was a fan, after this brunch experience i will likely not return. The music was blasting, we were the only guests for brunch for the first little bit. We ordered, the food took a full 45 min to arrive. All dishes: Victorian breakfast, pancakes, Croc madame were all very mediocre- nothing at all what would have to do with a delicious or decadent brunch... our group was floored by this experience given the titles of best restaurant etc Pigeonhole has received. We shared our disappointment with the server and her reply “there is a great place in the neighbourhood, Phil's diner”.

Great restaurant with unique food that is stellar. Beef Tartare and Cabbage are spectacular meals along with the chicken. Have not had a bad meal here. Definitely a must go-to if you want to try something different. Great staff and very good service.....worth going to for a date night or just with friends!

Amazing! Such a fun vibe! Loved the old records playing. Great cocktails. We shared the shrimp cocktail, scallop crudo, charcoal roasted asparagus, charred cabbage, mushroom croquettes, and steak frites. The sauces for each were stellar! Who knew cabbage could be so good! Our waiter was relaxed, but professional, and we had some good laughs with him. Overall a really enjoyable evening!

The meal started promisingly. The starters — oysters— were flavorful, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully presented. Then came the main event: the Alberta steak, cooked sous vide though claimed bbq'd on menu. The texture was oddly soft, bordering on mushy, and the flavor didn't live up to Alberta beef's usual reputation. It lacked the sear and depth you'd expect from a well-prepared steak. Frankly, it tasted like someone had followed a YouTube tutorial and didn't quite finish the video. Fortunately, the dessert — crispy profiterole— ended the night on a sweet note. Comforting, rich, and indulgent without being overwhelming. Overall, the pigeonhole showed some potential, but the steak, which should have been the star, fell disappointingly flat. Come for the starters and dessert, but don't raise your hopes for the main.

This is a great place! the menu is small so the items they make they have perfected, love going there and will for sure be back. It can get quite busy in there as it's a small restaurant. They play records on an old turntable, its so cool.

Everything here was amazing, one of the best meals we've ever had - the scallops crudo, the chicken schnitzel, the olives, the asparagus, the mushroom croquettes- all prepared beautifully and creatively - terrific cocktails also and our servers could not have been better - this restaurant is a culinary gem!

Salty food Pricey for eggs and bacon Atmosphere is weird, not vegan or vegetarian friendly at all with the decor.

We had the most phenomenal experience at Pigeonhole yesterday. We've been a few times before and loved it but this specific visit was exceptional. I told Connor (the manager) about a drink I had the last visit but couldn't remember the timing or what I had and he went back to our old reservations to find out when we were in and what the drink might have been. Then it was magically perfectly recreated. The food was truly amazing- our favourite dishes were the steak frites and the maple cake. 12/10 evening. I don't feel like there's anywhere else like this in the city and definitely not this level of service.

Food was generally good. We did not like the pickled muscles though a little fishy and not sure the pickling does them any favors. They were part of the seafood plate. Oysters and crab were very good. Muscles did not get eaten. Cabbage and Tartar were very good. Enjoyable place to be.

The six of us had a great time. Food was very good and cocktails were delicious. What real stood out for us was the service. Our server Grace was absolutely wonderful. She laughed with us and also made us laugh (maybe she was laughing at me)! I can't say enough about how great she was. Also the chef who brought us the food was fun and a great guy. Thanks for last night. Wonderful. They went out of their way to celebrate my birthday.
