I went for yyc experience brunch for $25 last Sunday.it was my first time at Pigeonhole and I won't be rushing to return as it was definitely not good value.starter: garden salad with 3 pieces of beetroot served in a small side size bowl which made it super awkward to eat. Salad was ok, nothing special just okmain: shakshuka with ONE EGG. It needed salt so I had to ask for it.dessert: kids size soft serve ice cream served in a paper cup.overall: I went home hungry as s mall bawl of leaves, a small can of crushed tomatoes with one egg , and small ice cream was simply not enough food and definitely not worth $25. Do yourself a favour and go with a regular brunch menu.$14 for 1.5 oz CaesarNow service: seemed all over the place, the main was brought to the table within 5 min of receiving the starter. I had to wait 5 min to get salt. 3 course brunch and it was all done within less than an hour.

Pigeonhole in Calgary is a fine dining experience in culinary ingenuity and delight. The menu is rather limited and some items are quite pricey so this may not be the place to bring the kids, but incredibly enough they do have a hot dog on the menu. I went with the Stracchiatella & Grilled Radicchio- an absolute flavor festival- along with the Grilled Broccolini and Cheese. Both were fabulous. Service was excellently attentive and quite helpful. Very much recommended.

Thank you for yet another amazing meal. We brought a friend for the first time who isn't able to come out because she has a doctor ordered diet that is very restrictive. Thank you thank you for not only accepting her restrictions but even giving her options. She was so impressed and so happy to have such good service and she absolutely loved the salmon you made her - she said it was the best she'd ever had. We really appreciate that you gave her such a wonderful experience! (Our meal was fabulous as well!)

Grace was our server- she was lovely. Had the avant gard cocktail which was perfectly well balanced and refreshing. Don't miss the hot dog, broccolini or maple cake. Highly recommend and would come again!

My partner and I came here for my birthday dinner from out of town. One of the best meals/service I have experienced in a long time.We were warmly greeted and sat at our table (next to the record player which made it feel like home) and since they knew it was my birthday, they brought over a glass of cava. Very thoughtful. We had two servers, who were the perfect mix of professional, knowledgable and personable. One of the best service staff I have experienced (including Michelin-starred restaurants). We ordered many dishes, that came out in such a complimentary schedule. It was all delicious. Trying to choose favourites is hard, but the oysters, mushroom croquettes and that pudding chomeur are a must. Cocktails were also fantastic and interesting!I've recommended it to all my friends and can't wait to come back to Calgary for another meal! Thanks for being the highlight of my birthday weekend! :)

Fantastic service, great staff, we always have the best time sitting at the bar. Nice to see some same staff from the last few years, a sign it's well run. One of our fave restaurants in town

For Valentines Dinner...My wife and adult daughter were seated at table for 6 right in front of Kitchen on upper area which also was right beside washroom door. Plates clanking, waiters yelling orders, lots of traffic past table. We ordered foods to share and non alcoholic beers ( $9.00 each ??) . appies were loaded with rich and cheesy sauces, extremely salty beet salad ( reminded me of the people that add the salt to movie popcorn). I rarely complain...but this was poor in almost every aspect. Oh.... our server was excellent!

brunch

It took a while for our server to get to us for drinks. The overall meal was over two hours which is quite long but it was a nice change from the usual rushed service. The food was amazing. Loved every dish.

Would have preferred a table as opposed to counter seating but was happy with our spot overall on a relatively last minute reso. My guest was a bit cold at the window and felt it was a little too drafty (I had a thick sweater and was fine). Overall the food was excellent and our server was wonderful and took good care of us. Will be back. The beef tartare was incredible and I'll be dreaming of it until I return for more.

Our server was adequately attentive. We shared small plates, which were all delicious, and the smoked mackerel eggs Benedict - the flavour of the fish overpowered the rest of the delicate ingredients. The people noise died down as most tables finished but the music was way too loud and, while beautiful, a tad aggressive for a Sunday brunch. I would have preferred soft background music with a relaxing vibe.

Always a good time at Pigeonhole, the service is what really shines, they always go above and beyond and make you feel really special. The food of course is amazing and decent portions and great quality too!
