Got the strawberry cake and the lotus cheesecake. For drinks, the pistachio cream latte and a caramel latte. The strawberry cake was a bit dry but the lotus cheesecake was delicious! The pistachio cream latte paired well with the sweet desserts but it was too small and i wish they had a bigger size. I'd love to try the sandwiches next time as well.

Loved this spot! Not many affordable, healthy options in Calgary that still taste great. The salad and sandwhiches were so tasty and filling. We also thought the black sesame matcha and strawberry dacquoise were well made. Will definitely be one of our go to spots :)

Great matcha options! I tried the pineapple matcha tonic and pineapple matcha latte and they were both strong, tasted good and lightly sweetened. Very nice ambiance in the cafe, I’ll have to try the desserts next time but they looked great.

Picnic Café is a cozy spot that instantly makes you feel welcome. We ordered a wrap, a sandwich, a cappuccino, and a flat white — everything was outstanding. The coffee was aromatic and perfectly balanced, with beautiful latte art that shows the baristas truly care. The bread they use for their sandwiches is top quality — fresh, flavorful, and makes the meal stand out.

My brother and I got the beef sandwiches from here and we both unfortunately got really bad food poisoning, I even emailed them to rectify it and so they can follow up with their kitchen but never heard back.

good sandwiches! would have preferred them to be a bit saucier. drip coffee was served lukewarm. i ate here with my girlfriend and i love her very much
