This place needs help. It used to be fun. Now the staff that isn't behind the bar would rather be on their phones than giving customers service. The burgers are amazing. The fries suck. Most of the machines don't work and the staff really bring the vibe down now. The bar guys and kitchen staff seem to be the only ones hustling. I used to love this place but probably won't be back anymore. It's like they need an adult in charge. Can someone please find an adult to save this place? Thanks for the good times but my last visit I left early and really disappointed.

Went for the $10 all day pinball and a beer.It would be tough staying there longer than an hour or two. A lot of machines out of order. Atmosphere is dark and dingy. Didn't eat there, too leary to do that...Sorry

This burger is tops in the city along with Lil Empire. Almost gave a score of 4 due to the fact the burger bun got soggy halfway through me finishing. Need to get a little better burger bun that holds up. Other then that the burger was crazy good, great sear on the meat. The fries are good as well, just need to come with some sort of dipping sauce. Definitely a must try for anyone wanting a legit burger.

Me and my son were looking forward to some smash burgers on Sunday afternoon. We walked in and got seated. We waited over 25 mins for someone to take our order: never came. We walked out. No service at all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had such a fun night at Pin-Bar on 17th Ave! 🎉 The retro arcade games and pinball machines brought back so many memories — and the vibe was super chill. We loved the drinks, the music, and just how easy it was to enjoy ourselves. Perfect spot for a casual night out with a twist. Definitely going back! 🕹️🍹✨

Great addition with the food from Bastion, and great staff too. But most pinball machines have something broken, and have been for a long time. If it wasn't called PinBar I wouldn't be so critical, but I've been coming here since it opened and the machines have only gone downhill, which sucks because I like everything else about the place. I hope they get repaired!

I think the venue is cool, the location is great, the staff is decent, and the pinball machines...oh boy. For a place called Pinbar it's really disappointing how poorly maintained they are. I brought my wife in for free pinball night. Almost every machine we played had either multiple minor issues or major ones. Broken flippers, incredibly badly balanced, Medieval Madness in particular wasn't set up properly, it looks like the doors the trolls are meant to pop out of were never unsealed but was hard to tell, the machine tilted badly to the right hand side. Some machines don't work, the lighting on Godzilla is broken, the sound was off on the Metallica machine, a machine you play because it plays licensed music, Game of Thrones had a broken flipper, I could go on and on.
I like this place a lot but if you are going to run a venue called Pinbar, with Stern logos on the walls, and have a free pinball night once a week, full of pinball machines, it would pay dividends to actually keep your machines in good health. We didn't go there for the stellar service or the booze, both met our expectations, but the pinball experience was pretty disappointing. I'm rating it rather highly because it's a unique place I want to see have a bit more love, but they need to hire someone who knows how to maintain machines and actually cares because we really got the impression that they don't. We had one machine that wasn't working, asked a male staff member about it, they looked at it for about two minutes, shut it down, didn't say anything to us, walked away, and it was off the rest of the night. The place was practically dead and a few of them were standing around talking to eachother so it's not like they had anything else to be doing, so it was either a lack of care or a lack of knowledge because time certainly wasn't a factor.
A cool venue, but if they don't care, it's hard for people going there to want too and to continue to go.

i got a few drinks in me and turned into a karen, complained to the manager over something stupid but the manager was amazing turned the experience right around for me. (ps. sorry to the servers i was rude to im embarrassed) also the $12 smash burger is so delicious
