It smells so amazing when you walk in and it's small with a few tables.There is a bathroom 🚻 in the restaurant.I would totally recommend it if you like middle eastern food like shwarma or donair.I love the place and the food it was super yummy.
I randomly found this place while in Calgary for business. We were walking downtown, looking for something to eat for lunch, and found Pita Basket on the corner. It did not disappoint! The service was great - friendly & prompt - and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and clearly made day of. The portions were very generous, and the price was extremely reasonable. I ordered a lamb shawarma, and I sure was not disappointed in the least. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the flavour of the meat and the spice blend were very complimentary andI was surprised by the large pieces of lamb. The majority of lamb shawarma I've had the meat was dry and flavour less.
As a side I ordered the beef and barley soup, which was hearty, delicious, and homemade.
